Zombie Kush in Living Soil

WIth my current grow coming to an end, I am going to pop five feminized Zombie Kush seeds by Ripper Seeds.

I have grown this strain a few times before and it is absolutely one of my favorite strains to grow and smoke.

As for the room, it will be exactly the same as it was for my current grow.
8'x8' sealed room
8'x3' grow area
3x SF 4000 lights
Bottled CO²
Trolmaster Control System
Dual Hose A/C unit
Quest Dehumidifier
2x Humidifiers
Automated watering system

The medium will be the same recycled soil as my last grow, living soil consisting of:
Peat
Sheep Manure
Fish Compost
Mushroom Compost
Neem Cake
Rice Hulls
Course Perlite
Activated Charcoal
Worm Castings
Kelp
Gypsum
Basalt rock dust
Gaia Green 2-8-4
Gaia Green 4-4-4
Bokashi Pro-Gro 2.5-2.5-1.7

Yesterday I harvested and hung my last crop, K-Mintz. Today to amended the top 2.5" of soil. I was pretty happy to see the earthworms I put in the soil when I built it were still there and super fat. I guess they are eating well.

My amendments were just a bunch of shit that I had kicking around from when I built the soil last fall.

I added the following to each 20 gallon fabric pot:
½ cup of Basalt Rock Dust
½ cup of Gyspum
½ cup of Gaia Green 4-4-4
½ cup of Gaia Green 2-8-4
½ cup of Bokashi Pro-Gro 2.57-2.5-1.7
1 cup of Neem Cake 4-3-2
½ cup of Kelp Meal
½ cup of alfalfa
½ cup of Powdered Oyster Shell

Today in order to not have to veg seedlings and small plants in my flowering room, I ordered two Spider Farmer SF300 lights and one of those cheap 3'Lx2'Wx5'H propagation tents.

It has a 2'x1'x2.5' seedling area and another area directly below it where I plan on keeping a couple small mother plants. One of the SF300's will be put in the seedling area and the other will be used for a couple small mother plants. I plan on putting an SF1000 in the 2'x2'x5' area that will be used for vegging.

I'll have to get a couple small 6" fans, a couple 4" in-line fans and it should be good to go.

As far as the plants go, today 3 of the 5 plants had sprouted. Hopefully I get at least one more or I am going to have to crack a seed of another strain to fill all 4 onf my pots.

So I decided to keep this journal simple compared to my past journals and haven't been reporting anything until I was confident the plants were established and starting to grow rapidly. I now feel that are established and will be posting more often.

These seedlings grew very slowly. They were drooping after the transplant into the 20 gallon pots then some leaves went yellow, I honestly thought about starting some different seeds but I am glad I stuck with these plants a little longer as they have exploded over the past couple days.

i am sure they had transplant shock and I suspect my mix might be a little to strong for seedlings. But they survived and seem to be thriving now. The plants have 8-9 nodes and will be topped around 10-12 nodes. I go a little longer than most people do before topping as I find that the bottom two nodes are hit or miss as to weather or not they will make it to the canopy and produce. They usually get trimmed off during lollypoping. Also more branches makes it easier to fill my scrog net.

Lighting is set at 50% power with ~500μmol of light hitting each plant.

Nice to see another ripper grower! I grow alot of their stuff. Harvesting kmintz, sour ripper, radical juice and lemon skunk Las Vegas right now.
I loved my zombie Kush but I got rid of it and will revisit in the near future. I also picked up some zombie bride so I'll run that with it.
Good luck with the grow looks great

I'm jealous of the automated watering system. Feels like that would free up time for other projects, like mushroom growing :-) Hard to setup?

Must be neat being best buddies with 2 dogs that could eat you if they really wanted to, haha. Solid muscle.

My K-Mintz was one of the best crops I have ever grown. Not a huge yield but it is definitely among the strongest and tastiest. Definitely gonna grow it again.

The Zombie has made frequent appearances in my grows, I absolutely love it. Looking forward to trying it after growing in the living soil.

The water set up is super simple and super cheap. I just run it on my Trolmaster controller. Currently I have it set to water for 1 minute 5x a day. The plants really love multiple waterings everyday and it prevents any runoff in my fabric pots.

As for the pups, absolutely they are my buddies. Victor is just over 100lbs@12 months old and Bruno just hit 48lbs@5 months old.

Cool. Did you follow anyones specific setup/thread, or should i just google "trolmaster". What size reservoir is it connected to? I'm definitely going to look into that.

Haven't fed them a damn thing yet, just water. Loving this soil, makes growing weed so easy. Gonna start adding eventually but things are so green right now. Guessing another couple weeks and I'll flip them to 12/12. I have lots of vertical room so I want to fill the scrog net then flip and let them stretch upwards to hopefully get some good sized colas. The goal is to break 3lbs.
