DP Blueberry - Does it always turn blue?

I have a Dutch Passion feminised Blueberry starting her 10th week of flowering. The hairs are mostly brown and the trich's are a mix of clear, cloudy and amber. But there is no blue color or hue to her.

Has anyone grown this strain and not had the buds or leaves turn blue?

Lights are out now. I'll post pics of her later tonight.

I've bought finished stuff from a guy that grows out DJ shorts blueberry and he also has a bunch of strains crossed with it, none of them have ever been blue.. But who really cares, they are bomb as fuck.

what up .. knally.. the blue actually comes out in the cure just like the pack says.. the stems get purple and red and the deep green creates the blue that turns lika lavender..that looks really good by the way.i too have bb. the reg dp bb

I hope it's bomb. Haven't tried BB before. Hope I like it because I have two more BB girls in veg waiting to go into flower.

The reason why the purple to blue hues eventually occur most often is the sound genetics and the temperature. If you are growing from seed or taking clones from a wonderful mother that would increase your chances of getting that blue hue. In actuality alot of strains can turn purple or blue if the temperature is modified to drop. Also by curing in a cold dry area will promote the blue hues you are after. Also, modification of potassium and phosphorus intake can help you acheive your blue hue goal.

take your time with the curing process.. it will suffer if dried out too much or fast. if you jar it for a week or two after it starts to look dry hanging. its some of the best.

anyone use purple maxx with bb.. im trying it now. i am 7 weeks in on my 2nd round with dutch passin regs.. i took the top two out of a 10 pack and the clones are growing way different. the seeds grew tall as hell and the clones are short but really stout with twice as many bud sites

that looks like some murder tho forsure....

I will try to be patient and dry and cure it correctly. That's going to be very hard because it's been a while since my last grow and the smoke available is Mexican dirt with mostly stems, seeds and so dry it powders in a grinder.

I need some good weed.

I have a White Widow drying now. So I'll flush and wait a week to chop the BB.

Two of the New Wave 2-foot 4 bulb T5's with 8 bulbs total. It has 4 of the 6500K and 4 of the 3000K bulbs @ 24 watts each.

I added two 42 watt 2700k cfl's yesterday to try to fill out the bottom buds over the next week.

My next grow of 2 BB and a white widow I'm going to use all 8 3000k T5 bulbs and the 42 watt 2700k cfl's to see if it makes a difference.

your not using HID dam those are some nice buds for floro's and Cfl's

White Widow pics are below. You should have seen the Dutch Dragon and Strawberry Cough from an earlier grow!

Got them from a site onestopseedshop.co.uk. Had no problem getting them; the package just didn't come stealth. Lucky I guess.

I got 20 feminised seeds total; 5 of each of DP White Widow, Strawberry Cough & Blueberry and Paradise Seeds Dutch Dragon. I still have 3 of each left.

I've got mothers of all 4 going right now plus clones of the White Widow and Blueberry ready to go into flower.

I need more growing space, then more lights, then more....

knally have you ever though about scrog or vegging for a shorter time.. i know that ww blew up on you, but it seems like you could get more with less internode stretch since the t5's dont penetrate very well .. bushmaster is good for that also.. i love t5's and your plants look great ps..

I am looking at ways to increase the number of plants in my small space. My closet is 2 feet deep by 2.5 feet wide and 6.5 feet of heighth available. Two grows from now I'm planning to grow 8 to 12 at a time in four Water Farms and veg for a shorter period of time.

The White Widow strain I have is a very tall phenotype. The mother and clone are very tall already. It shows a lot of sativa characteristics.

I need to research scrog and figure out some things. I have been flowering two monster ladies at a time in the Water farms and getting between 4 and 5 dry ozs total. If I can get more yield with more plants in the same area and growing time, I'm for it.

trust, youll get more quicker.. i think the ww pheno is for you next grow room though.. you know the one with 12 foot ceilings and 2 million watts

also try a shorter bushier pheno like the pp you had.. i think that and some bushmaster under you lights would produce cynderblocks
