First time grower here. Have I burned one of my plants with Nutes?

Im coming up the sixth week of the grow and having lots of expanded problems the far plant doesnt seem healthy at all and the smaller near plant has some brown rust spots, could be calcium deficiency? Looking for any advice still. Thanks <3

As I have got this far, all will not be lost will it, the buds will still be somewhat smokeable no matter what from this point onward or?

Hmm they certainly don’t like something!!

Are you still feeding lightly?

any run off after watering?

You’ll get some smoke don’t worry :) might be able to pull em round before harvest

All will not be in vain that's good to know. I'm feeding appropriately I reduced the grow and the bloom is in full swing introduced top max and have given epsom salts and homemade calcium solution from eggshells distilled with vinegar.

I'm watering two litres every 3-4 days and there is a little run off but not much. Which makes me think they feed well and are hungry or the soil retains the water a lot, there again it's light mix so I don't think the soil is staying particularly waterlogged.

What do you reckon time wise? Harvest in about two weeks or so? Many thanks

Next grow I will buy some Biobizz calmag and dose according to instructions as well as add bioheaven to my feeding regimen. Also I will use allmix in the bottom half of the pot with light mix on top rather than the wholenpit being light mix.

What is water quality like? Also is it soft or hard water?

Is it just pure light mix nothing else added? Lime?

Nah still got another 4-5 weeks to go!

It was just pure light mix yep from Biobizz. Should I add lime next time if so what product is good? Not read up on adding lime. Would I need to add still next time round if I do the light mix top and all mix bottom split in the pot?

The water is soft here in north Germany so I assume from the get go there could have been a lack of calcium.

And four or five weeks wow that's long! I honestly don't think the bigger plant is going to survive looking out how many leaves are rapidly becoming affected. Do you think it would be worth a full flush and start again with the bloom after a full flush? Thanks for your help

I had a similar looking deficiency when I used lime with light mix and didn’t let it cook. Doesn’t seem to be your issue then.

Yes I have soft water and need to get it up from 40 to 250 with a full spectrum calmag. Some calmags just have calcium magnesium but try and find one with added trace elements, I use plant magic magne cal.

Can do the split but light mix gives you more control over feeding.

If you are week 6 that takes you to week 11-12 so about right.

Hard to say. I’d give them 1ml per L of magnecal with feed and see how they respond!

High again. I think im nearing the finishing line with my first grow journey! These little ladies have been packing out somewhat despite a battle with various deficiencies. The taller plant is thickening out less on the buds than the smaller plant but Im thinking maybe it has to do with less green leaves being on the plant meaning less photosynthesis so maybe it doesnt have as much energy to pack out the buds. I see some amber trichromes but more situated on the leaves. Today is day 55 start of week 8. Just wanted to ask how far off you think these are from being chopped right now? by your estimations before i should have at least another 2 weeks left, does that seem right?

Id say about 2-3 weeks you should be in the harvest window!

The tops of the buds are getting a little light stressed. Thats why all the hairs are white and further down they are a mixture of red/white.

Can reduce the hours or power of the light a little if u fancy :)

AHH good to know thanks! I'm running the sf2000 about 35cm away from the top of the plants. About 950ppfd at the top and 700ish as t the buds on the sides. Light is around 80-85 percent power will turn it down to about 75 percent now. As it's an all organic grow I don't need to start flushing at any point right? I can just use nutes right up until the chop?

Nice! Thats a little high if you’re lights on 20hrs or 18.

No need to flush. Can give water for the last week if you like to save effort and nutes :)!

I actually go away for a month on July 14th. So will just about have time I hope to dry the buds and jar them, give them a little burping and then put in those a couple of those 62% moisture packs. I had planned to harvest this week originally as the seeds said 8-9 weeks seed to harvest. I since learned not to trust those numbers! Nevertheless, I think because I will be away and the last thing I want is to ruin the whole grow with mould I would prefer to harvest somewhat early to minimise any potential risks, of course I'm happy to sacrifice cannabinoid and THC content generally for extra security of having the enough time to dry and cure as best I can in the time window I have. What I'm wondering though is if I harvest in one weeks time which would of course be earlier than ideal, are there any further negative implications of doing so besides somewhat smaller yield and strength?

Lighting adjusted now so thanks for your advice on that front.

Hey again! my autoflowers are coming up day seventy and are developing some yellow sacs, my question would be - do they pose any threat? Should i harvest now? Would love to know your thoughts

Just pollen sacks. It’s a last ditch effort for the plant for the plant to pollinate itself. Mostly genetics but can be environmental.

Just pluck them off best you can, another couple weeks and your plants should be good to harvest!
