Led driver help

I Recently purchased a viparspectra p2500 the light has great output but the driver runs very hot. I'm wondering if anybody can help me find a equivalent mean well one to swap on. The driver that is on thier is a sosen ss-240va-56b. I have a meanwell elg-240-54b and wondering if that was compatible to swap one. If it isn't can anyone that is knowledgeable in the drivers point me in the right direction? Thank you for any help you can provide

The odds are overwhelming that there's nothing wrong with your current driver. I have both drivers and they both run hot at 100% output.
I can't recall the value, but checked with my IR gun, they were both 140ish. Too hot to touch for long but well under the Tcase max.

Remote mount or airgap the driver, or put a fan on it. Driver is usually the main source of heat in a wellbuilt light. In vipar I wouldn't know

Was looking at model … dont see why it couldn’t have risers on screw mounts …. You could remote mount that driver but it would need cabling to be modded for length and that would definitely void your warranty.

The drivers on the p1500 are mounted to an elevated bracket to facilitate airflow, I'm guessing the P2500 is mounted similarly.
Moving air will definitely help lower the driver case temp.
Again, I measured NO difference in case temperature between my Sosen and Meanwell drivers
when run at 100%.
