three gallons on autos, or photoperiod plants??
i tend to agree with everyone else, 10 g's is way too big for an auto since autos don't have a true veg period, they'll simply start to flower after about 30 days or so from seed, so there's no way they'll really benefit from a much larger container size since you can't veg them any longer than what they do naturally..
my $,02
30 days is the veg period they get a foot or foot and half then stretch up to twice that the first month of flower
Solid nice 3 or 4 footers is perfect for 10 15 or mabey even 20 gallon.

Then why the hell aren't you rocking bigger pots if your pulling huge yields
You would think you would have some cash to drop back into soil.
Dont see the need to use bigger pots. I use whatever i have around. Outdoor season is for fun lol i incest most of my cash in my indoor stuff tbh.

Forshur for me it's just like why not use the outdoor to the best you can because you can make the most off the smaller investment you know?

Like I just put up a 4 k indoor and won't see much profit on that at all

If I stuck that same 5 gs into a outdoor grow I coulda made like 40 pounds easy that's like 10 times as much for the same investment.

But either way I'll milk them both haha

I guess so just imagine how much better you could do with more space and food and what not I'm sure the plants would like it

Just mabey try it this year put one out in like a 100 gallon next to your 60

I guess, but i dont grow to sell, I grow to smoke lol. I take the extra i have and theres a club that picks it up off me for 16 to 18 a piece. But im honestly more than happy with what i do outdoor, i dont care to change anything except the strains that go out. :)

Cause 16 to 18 is good from a club I hate vending to them I'd rather help my friends out all year long I can get more out of my work that way.

dude, it's an auto.. it's not going to benefit from a longer veg time.. it only has a genetic limit on how big it can grow in x amount of time.. meaning the root mass will only grow so big before it begins to flower..
idk, you asked for advice then go on and tell everyone who doesn't agree with a bigger pot being better that they're wrong..

I used to own a dispensary and got fucked by my partner and there was just so much bs i wanted out of all of it. So i do all personals now and there are two clubs that i still deal with because i can walk in and theyll grab whatever i have on me. And i have been dealing with the for years so thats about as far as ill venture.

There roots are ganna hit the sides eventually and that slows the plant down in a 3 it happens quick in the first week or 2 so that makes them overall a lot smaller so it does matter
And exactly a genetic limit on how big it can get in that month so you never want it hitting those walls of the pots ATLEAST till the last month.
That's just basic shit.
I asked to see of anyone else had experience and you don't even have experience with autos outside .... Telling me to use a 3 is fucking pointless if I did 5s last year and I said they got root bound.
