It seems he left a way into his house and setup a kill-zone from what I can tell.

Like a trap for an animal.

He's nuttier than squirrel shit.

I remember when Bucky was asking me about how to setup a trap in his backyard so the teen rippers wouldn't steal his precious plants. Talk of firearms, bladed weapons and punji stakes were all possibilities being entertained at one time. Right wing nut?

Wow, the man was pretty stupid to do this in a socialist paradise such a Minnesota, and to then make a recording AND tell someone about it only makes him more the idiot. Not sure how everyone is able to determine the political leanings of this man though, {must take directive from MSM, must}.

The kids were even more stupid to attempt the robbery in the first place and no matter how much we cry about them, they aren't ever coming back. Take note young teens, you can get killed for being stupid.

His house had been broken into a few times recently. Time for some payback. I can live with that.

If you don't want to increase your chance of death...you should not break into houses.

It can be safely presumed he is not a "bleeding heart liberal" by his own account. So what options does that leave? Perhaps he feels a personal connection to the Bloc Quebecois?

I'm not a "racist conservative"...but, I'm still conservative.

I don't have a problem with what this guy did.

What is the basis of charging him? The fact that he had prior knowledge that the people were going to be breaking into his home.

So, what? Are they saying he had a duty to leave his house and let the kids ransack it?

I think the overriding fact that someone forced their way into his home, giving rise to a reasonable fear of death or grave harm, which justifies him using a weapon to neutralize the threat.

Because a black person has never killed anyone.
Yes, the unspoken reality that Black on Black violence is the PREVALENT form of violence in this here US of A experiment. So much hate from everyone, its no wonder we kill people.

Poor guy was driven insane from the anxiety of having his possessions and life's work stolen out from under him. Throw him in prison!! That way we can all pay!! Yay!!

Glorify the thieves!! They did nothing wrong, right?

In my state if you are a 18 year old teen breaking into my house, you get blasted with extreme prejudice and they aint gonna even file charges or take anything more than a statement from me.

Oh, I see. So you think he is a liberal?

The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilised community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others.
I'm sure John Stuart Mill would be right there with you on that. Borrowing further from a general definition of liberalism, "Individuals are assumed to be capable of using reason and taking rational actions in pursuit of their interests."
Yup...he sure was rational in his actions. No attempt to communicate was made, just foot on steps, BANG! "You're dead"

MEANWHILE, back in your neck of the 'hoods, we can look at general points of note in conservative ideology, to see if there is any relation to this incident. The primary contrast coming from classical conservatism is in the manner which humans are seen;
"Inherently imperfect with a great potential for evil and a limited capacity to use their reasoning abilities."
Hmmm...so not only does he fit the bill, he also supports that point by demonstration.

Definitely a liberal
