6/6/6/6 Light Schedule?

I'm really not understanding why it's so horrible that I try it, that's all it is, is trying some thing just for fun. I'm not using a whole sq yard with a 1000w setup, I already have every thing I need for it and it's just sitting collecting dust I just need to wait till I move. I've already heard from some one with personal experience that it will just veg, as well as all the scientific information on how and why it won't work. My journal won't be illrelivent because it will still show plants reaction to I guess it's called gas lighting and give a comparison to a plant grown under regular conditions in veg.

12/12 it works. ..
When it comes to such a time you have the luxury to express yourself with photperiod and phytotropical experimentation by all means please do. But if your goal is to produce some quality medical cannibals specimens this grow around. Please adhere to what works for now. Proven safe methods to expand upon as you develop this particular discipline

Yes sir, it's a luxury I wanna go with to further my personal knowledge of cannabis. I like to make my own mistakes, and discoverys, feel I gain a little more then just reading an looking at pictures(which do help guide me along). With the info from EVERYTHINGSHAZY it isn't gonna be about flowering, it'll be twords how the plants veg differently with different lighting 24/0 18/6 12/12 6/6 an the something lantern method.

Ps: Will have a regular cycle going in a compley different environment so those that over worry can ease up a little

Haha. Is that a "Forrest Gump" reference? Great movie. Anyway, I think the 6/6 is worth a try. I know of people who are trying to do 36 hours light and 12 hours off for flower to speed the process a little. Not sure if it actually goes any quicker but its working for them. People who try new things all the time are more likely to stumble upon great new methods. I would try this alongside another regular schedule grow. See what happens. Be an innovator.

I have done that. and in my experience it works, I mean I cant tell you the satistics but I mean I tried a thirteen hour veg twelve on two off an hour on and 9 off. they got really big really fast because, and when I switched to flower I did 11 hours on and 13 off. then it went to nine hours on two hours off and two hours on then ten hours off, I had amazing crystral and bud growth. growing to me is nothing but a giant experiment, I love experimenting with growing. this current grow im actually vineing them onto a tressils net with a six week veg.

I would try advanced techniques if I in fact mastered regular techniques.

gas lantern technique, lol and keep on experimenting its fun to see what you get when you do abnormal grow techs, especially if they work wonders.

The way i see it is that so many people grow cannabis and have done for quite a while indoors, that all of these "new" light schedules are anything but new, and are so unheard of because those who tried it realized there was no point. someone somewhere, many someones, will have tried it, and if it did anything wonderful, others would try it, would also see how wonderful it was, and we'd all now be doing it. But we don't. For a reason.

yes but most people don't want to try something new xcause they think the wayu they have it is enough for them and they don't want to further their ability to grow.

From this forum alone, i've seen more than enough people willing to try any and everything new. I never saw anything from these experiments to make it worth doing. I myself have done countless side by side tests to compare various claims be it flushing, or darkness before harvest etc. None proved to do anything of benefit.

People have tried feeding their plants with their own piss and shit, i'm pretty sure that 6/6/6/6 has been tried as well. Again though. Any of these experiments that appear to have been benenficial, they are normally adopted by the growing community. supercropping must have seemed absurd at first, but it proved to be very useful, so it was accepted. Putting nails into the stem was absurd at first, and it was shown to be stupid, it was no accepted.

Funny how cannabis forums and books contain definitive answer about topics that real experts and professors aren't so sure about...

"Although the term ‘florigen’ was coined initially, there may be multiple transmitted florigenic stimuli so ‘floral stimuli’ or ‘florigens’ are more appropriate."

"There are at least three plant pigments that could regulate photoperiodic flowering responses: chlorophyll via photosynthesis, phytochrome and the blue light receptor." [not to mention the role of ethylene]

"Many unsuccessful, frustrating attempts to extract and identify flowering stimuli have led florigens sometimes to be called hypothetical, non-existent or the holy grail of plant physiology."

"Holy grail" because as with many of these supposed shortcuts, they have been tested extensively, still are today, by actual pros. Not to get more 'dank' faster, but to save the ever increasing amount of people on this planet from starving to death.

What is known for a fact is that the dark period needs to be of a minimal length. You could reduce the day length but your plants won't thank you for the decrease in light.

Also, a warning:

"The following procedure will produce seeds which will grow 100% female hemp:

Cultivate two separate groups of female plants indoors. The plants should receive at least 50 watts of light per square foot of growing area. One group must not receive more than 7 hours of light daily. This will induce male flowers to manifest on the female plants

So unless you are looking for an organic way to create fem seeds...

If you're going to try 6/6/6/6 anyways, then why did you ask? Just curious… You're busting on people for answering your question, and then saying you're going to try it anyways...
