First Year Strains Grown

Where do u buy ur seeds?
Most of the strains listed are $100 a pack and I don't think theres much chance of the plant covering the expense if its flushed down the toilet.
And im sure if a local compassion club found x amount of strain x on their doorstep it would be better off helping someone else than being flushed. To each their own...I just wish I had that kinda money and time to be so selective.

If you don't like a plant, make hash. At least it's useful. I consider myself pretty picky, not as picky as some, but if I don't like something I'll gift it to others or like the shitty autos I couldn't give away, make hash.

YOU must have kept a detailed log and for that, thumbs up! And thumbs up for Michigan.
I disagree with you on some strains though. Must be phenotype. Unfortunately if we are
running singles, its hard to really tell the true quality of a strain overall. What can one say but
some strains have a wider pheno selection.

i'm a little obsessive compulsive that way. you should see my excel spreadsheet to keep track of flowering times, etc. and yeah, thumbs up for Michigan! :-)

yes, that is true on running singles; it can be hard to know whether you're going to like a strain from just one, sugar punch taught me that. SSDD taught me you can know whether you like something a lot on the first run too.

illegal state. growing for me, don't sell...so who would i gift it to? it works out to $10 per seed plus the percentage of lights/nutes used for that particular plant. so three months +/- to find out what kind of smoke i like doesn't seem too bad to me.

next one i grow i don't like, i better be seeing you volunteer to come and get it! ;-)

Don't tempt me I love road trips bro lol
I haven't tried any of the single seed places so I shall plead ignorance for now,
Ten bucks isn't bad at all
Do u plan to constantly keep trying new strains or will you eventually just run a full batch of ones u liked?

road trips are great! :-)

The Single Seed Center is where i've purchased one or two beans just to try out a strain. pretty sure Amos Otis uses them also and will vouch for them. they have great stealth and aren't trying with it--it's perfect. TSSCFB is a 10% off code if you find something you like with them.

of the strains listed i didn't like, only blood orange was a whole pack and because it has appalachia in it, i will try it again and am not too disappointed by that one.

my plan all along was to find two or three i really liked and exclusively grow those adding a new one in here and there just for something different. what do you grow regularly?

That's why I asked.
Ive been stuck with the same stuff.
I was running Tahoe og but after two harvests it had zero effect but everyone else said I was crazy and loved it.
But then a friend put a hermie in our shared flower room and ive been left well a billion Tahoe jesus fems beans and im too cheap to buy much more lol
Ive tried a bunch of tgas gear but out of three of his strains Chernobyl was the only one I liked but I didn't plan ahead and clone it.
I could continue to run the beans I have for a long time but im like u id rather sample lots so maybe I should try single seeds.

if you're not getting the same effect, i'd be wanting to look into something different for sure! i'll be running the sunshine daydream and lucky charms along with probably the reserva privada sour kush too for a while now.

That's horribly wasteful! Just wrong in so many ways.
thanks for that.
