That's what i figured because the more i top or fim my plant the longer i veg it. It's not good to top your plant and throw into flower in my experience.

they are a small, low yielding, less potent variety of marijuana. the only "upside" is they finish faster than a normal photo period plant. BUT you can get damn near the same results with any photo period plant if you start it under the 12/12 flowering light cycle. it'll grow for about a month then start flowering on its own. ide much rather do a 12/12 from seed grow than grow a auto. you have much much more to choose from and much better strains to run in general.

Like I said I’ve never grown , just thinking if a person was going to plant out in some remote place , and could not regulate a light cycle , it looks like they would be hard to spot , and the picture looks like the yield would be good , everything they say on that link sounds good .I like what you said about using the pepper mix to control pests , my wife wants to now plant those , last year the pests enjoyed more of our garden veggies than we did .

One like this:
Making the Calicleaner

1.) Get a sauce pan - fill with one pint of water - put on lowest flame possible (do not boil !!!).

2.) Chop 4 -5 Habanera peppers fine. Chop open seeds and central membranes, as the power lies there.

3.) Simmer chopped peppers for 20 minutes - making sure not to boil (you will destroy the active proteins).

4.) When you put your head over the pan and the wispy-steam stings your eyes, the Calicleaner is ready.

5.) Pour the Calicleaner through a fine mesh strainer - a little fine grit is OK - let cool in a clean bowl.

6.) Pour room temperature contents in a mister spray bottle. You are ready to apply.

HOW TO APPLY Calicleaner

1.) Put on gloves, and wear a mask, or at least put a bandana around your nose and mouth.

2.) Turn off all fans - you do not want this spray in your eyes!!!

3.) Spray the bottom of EVERY leaf - starting with the bottom leaves first, work up to the top.

4.) After the bottoms are done, hit the tops and the stems.

5.) Squirt liberally in new leaf pods - tightly wound new leaf growth (the small mites hide there).

6.) Get the heck out of the room till it clears.

7.) Repeat procedure with each plant.

8.) Spray the soil, the pots, and the floor or earth around the area to kill dropping mites and stop migration.

Yes I would like to know more about it , I have not ordered the pepper seeds yet , , what king of peppers are they ? , I have Neem Tree started in my garden also because its supposed to be good for keeping pests away , Its growing pretty fast , appears it likes Florida weather . Have you grown the Auto Flower ? And if so did it end up looking like the one in that picture ? I’ve seen lots of plants in other peoples garden but never a plant that looked that good , wondering why ? I see Big Trees did a post on it also , wonder if using the leaves of my Neem tree would be done the same way ?

the recipe calls for habanero peppers but you can use the hottest thing you can get your hands on. you can also add garlic and onion to the mix for added bug protection but ive never needed it. nothing wants to eat on your plant once you've sprayed hot habanero pepper juice all over it lol. not sure how to extract neem but im sure just having it growing around helps. i have only tried auto flowers once and hated the results so much ive never gone back. it only grew like 8 inches tall and yielded like maybe a eighth of dry bud. it tasted like soap and barely got me high. i forget the strain and breeder but i wont be trying any others any time soon. ive seen similar results from other growers trying to grow autos and ive seen a few good results with autos as well but.....why weed through hundreds of auto flower strains trying to find 1 good one when you can find a ton more strains that are way better by sticking with photoperiod strains. most auto flower strains are shitty ruderalis (natural auto flowers) crossed with decent photoperiod strains to make the autos you see today for sale from breeders. there are some better than others but typically when you cross something shitty like a auto with something mediocre or good, you dont usually come out with something better. it usually just stays mediocre. so for me anyways, im looking for the good shit not the mediocre, OK stuff lol. i stay far away from autos ;)

I understand.

I am from Eugene, Oregon. Hippies are easy to spot and form quick friendships.

Much different down here.

The entire population of Oregon is equal to the population of just the Orlando Metro area.

and i havent heard anything new about any MMJ laws for florida actually. and as for the no home grows that will change quick when the few greenhouses they choose cant supply nearly the entire state lol.

I am trying various soil mixtures for my Tomato plants and ran across this mixture ,it was an article about autoflowers , I'm experimenting with the idea of joining flood and drain with standard soil growing. Anyone have any info that may help ?I know its not a new idea but I cant find much info about it . Hi Abe how you doing ?
  • 3 parts compost
