get your immediate neighbors in on it.

then drill holes through your common walls for the extension cords. run extension cords everywhere, then roll with fluorescents and maybe (2) 400's and (6) 600's. blow that shit up, but have a fire extinguisher handy.

don't bother with carbon filters. You'll have harvested before the management or popo shows up, then you can do shit right next time. good luck
jajajajaj like the way you think

Never Heard Of Hobart But My Cousin Runs Back And Forth To Geneva
http://www.hws.edu/about/index.aspx

first college i went to, only got accepted because i knew someone in admissions.

i wanna know what i can do with big plants now
Well you're in the right place to learn! perhaps veg longer, place them in grow tents (or a closet) for sure if you're in an apt, and definitely use multiple carbon filters. filter hot smelly exhaust, then also have one scrubbing the air in the general area.

seek out low smell strains. Cinderella 99 doesn't smell too bad, kinda like perfume rather than skunk. https://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/mosca-seeds-cinderella-99-bx-1/prod_1188.html

You do not need a sub panel or anything else. If you do as I said ull be fine.
power = voltage x current
1000= 120 x current
1000/120= current
current (amps) that yur 1k light draws is 8.333 if you put it on a 20 amp circuit with an inline fan you will pull 10 amps max. You don't want to run more than 80% on a breaker for constant loads. So 20 amp breaker you can run 16 amps on and a 15 amp breaker you can run 12 amps on. I am also from ny pass by your town on my way to buffalo where my father lives.

WTF, must be some shitty apartments out there in 3rd world countries or something. 15a will run 1800w, 20a will run 2400w. You have to have 20a in your kitchen by code, and all the others are likely 15a. In any case you should have no issue running a 1000w + a couple of low power consuming devices on a 15a breaker. No need for an electrician unless you are stupid as shit and can't read or are so afraid of a breaker box that you couldn't flip the power back on if it did flip.

Intentionally flip/break the outlet you are planning on using. To be safe use a circuit tester, like $5 at hardware store, or you can use a wire and short it yourself if you can do so without killing yourself. If I have to explain, just get the tester so you live.

You Seem To Know alot about electricty i have to admit thats a field where i have close to no knowledge what is an amp?

1000 watts blows my power clean out a wile back got the power board looked at and fixed now no issue running 2 600watts u are just gunna have to plug it in and see how u go if u are in a apartment it should have a good board to surply all the units
Your gonna be running on 15 amp breakers. Which means 1-1000w light takes 9/15. You have about 3-4 amps left to work with. If you max it out the extra power to start your light will blow the breaker.

If u have access to your panel, see if a room has two outlets on different breakers (giving u 30 amps)

If all you have is 15, a 1000w might be a little big. Id go with an adjustable ballast in case you run into heat issues since you won't be able to run too much air flow with limited amps

All of this is based on the assumption that the circuit that is being used will ONLY be used for growing. That is rarely the case as people tend to live in the homes they grow in. You should never go over 80% of the rated circuit amperage. Any electrician will tell you that, the risk of fire rises exponentially. Using the full 1800 watts from a 15 amp breaker is idiotic. Depending on when the house was built or remodeled the circuit amperage will vary greatly. Older homes didn't use more than 15 amp.

BTW, never... never, NEVER replace a lower amp breaker with a higher amp breaker. You will be overloading the wiring in the house and that's asking for a fire.

Besides that you also have to take into account the ballast amperage and the amperage of any other device you're using on that circuit.

However, if you live abroad your home voltage is 220-240 so you can run more watts through the breakers as a 1kw on a 15a breaker with 220/240v is less amp draw than on 110/120.

You'll be fine with the electricity question. Growing in an apartment however I wouldn't recommend, too many ways to get busted that are out of your control.
