I don't start the war like Cheney helped do. When are you going to make that announcement returning your land and have you apologize to your sons for signing them up to be part of the United States. How do they feel about being a citizen ?

I didn't commit genocide, but you enable war.

My sons are grown men, capable of running their own lives.

Other - Wagse will always be determined by the need for the employees work....

However....

The American system of 'tipped wage' and expecting 'gratuity' to make up the missing earning the employer pockets instead.... that shit needs to go...

We're about the only country in the world who thinks a McDonalds employee deserves $10/hr+ but a waitress deserves $3/hr.....

You can't make up missing wages with 'gratuity' because for it to have been 'gratuitous' to begin with..... the worker COULD have been just fine without it.... thats what gratuitous means...

It has become a form of approved slave labor, and its wrong.

People are enslaved to the extent that another entity forcibly confiscates or threatens a given percent of the proceeds of their labor.

Logic insists that is so. Slavery is wrong, even in a lower percent than 100%.

I agree the minimum wage in most states is too low and should be raised to a "living wage" for a single adult. In my state that's $10 an hour, double what's considered a "poverty wage" and $2 more than the minimum wage in my state. I don't agree with the mentality that employers are responsible for their employees life choices.

yes we understand your sons have their own opinion. What is their opinion of you as a father signing them up to become citizens of the United States ? Were you proud on that day you agreed for them to have a social security number ? Hell you must have been, seeing how you did it 3 times.

Main Findings

-More than two-thirds of small business owners support increasing the federal minimum
wage, up from $7.25 an hour, and adjusting it yearly to reflect the cost of living:

A 67% majority of small business owners agree the current federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour
should increase, and that it should be adjusted annually to keep pace with the cost of living. Moreover,
almost four in 10 (36%) strongly agree.

-The vast majority of respondents pay all of their employees more than minimum wage:

A sweeping 85% of small business owners surveyed do not pay any of their employees the federal
minimum wage of $7.25.

-Two-thirds of entrepreneurs believe increasing minimum wage will boost consumer
demand for small businesses, helping them grow and hire:

A 65% majority agrees with this statement: “Increasing the minimum wage will help the economy
because the people with the lowest incomes are the most likely to spend any pay increases buying
necessities they could not afford before, which will boost sales at businesses. This will increase the
customer demand that businesses need to retain or hire more employees.” Moreover, one-third of
owners strongly agree with this statement.

-Two-thirds of small businesses agree increasing minimum wage would decrease the
pressure on taxpayer-financed government assistance to make up for low wages:

A 65% majority agrees that increasing the minimum wage would allow people to afford basic
necessities and decrease the pressure on taxpayer-financed government assistance to make up for the
low wages paid by some employers, and say it’s not right that people working full time earn just
$15,080 a year at the minimum wage—significantly lower than it was in the 1960s, adjusting for
inflation. A one-third minority says, on the other hand, that we cannot afford to increase the minimum
wage because it will increase labor costs and lead to lower profits, higher prices and job losses.
