How is rosin done with fresh frozen. Do you make bubble first? And then press.

I'm trying to step up my rosin game.

I trim each by branch 1at a time from the plant into a container full of dry ice then gently shake in a 160 micron all mesh bag over a nice big thick piece glass I have collect with razor blade onto a Pyrex or plate. Let air dry for 2-4 hrs. Then press approximately @140-170 degrees for 20 seconds in envelope i make with 25 micron mesh. So terpy an potent.

I also harvest my plants at peak of trichome potency. Not bag appeal , weight , white hairs don't cares. If the trichome s in the scope are cloudy to few clear an very few if any amber . Some indica I like few amber few. To me this gives you best true expression of the effects of said plant. Amber trichome is cbn just couch lock effect . So if really any strain is takin way amber ,sativa or not it's get more a general stone feel. I m not really into it. If strain expresses that kind of effect naturally at peak ripeness cool.

I have tried letting the Amber up, 50/50 ect.

Mostly clear is very racy to me, cloudy gives me the best and Amber puts me to sleep.

Funny thing is I m cheap an too busy to make a mod sooo. I use a 2in flat iron 18.99 @ miejer. An for pressure I love to work out an consider myself fairly strong @175 lbs I have a small sturdy wood table I do a bodyweight push up with arm locked . It's enough to get it all out with 2 presses max. No oil residue left on mesh . Ghetto but effective. Can process a 1/4 lb this Way in 4-6 hrs. So much safer an quicker than solvents.

I destroy the case on the straightener.

I'm aroumnd the same weight and always had good luck with flowers. Hash rosin seems to be righteous.

I prefer hash rosin so I can still use fresh frozen material. Ever since went from dry to fresh frozen making my IWE like 5 years ago an can't imagine using dry material again for certain extract methods . Of course I hang dry my material fro 12-17 days for dry sift which is a labor of love. But rosin tech get me a very terps rich product so quick an easy with great return. So my dry sift an IWE gear been getting a rest lately
