The wife and I are returning this year, we had a blast last year. Trying to decide on where to stay now. We have a room in Denver 15th through 21st, but we may end up staying in Pueblo the first few days, then Denver for the 4-20 holiday. We are also contemplating staying somewhere like Colorado Springs the entire time, as it is fairly central between the two locations. Any suggestions or areas to avoid from the local folks?

The people who complain about germination rates are sprouting them wrong. I have tried many breeders over the years and have great germination from all the seed makers. Some people bash breeders so they can get free seeds. If you are buying them in person they would be fresher than a seedbank.

In Manitou springs they have a couple 420 friendly hotels. Also check out the lazy lion, pothole or any other A 64 clubs in the springs, where the locals go. Lots of outdoor stuff to do if you are in town a few days, check out Cheyenne mountain zoo and Helen hunt falls.

Careful with the weed clubs, sometimes the windows implode and police start raining in from outside.
Pueblo and springs both have very uhhh lets say economic choices in terms of hotels, and you can also find decent ones at either place, if you want to stay in pueblo you should probably get on that right now though. Does anyone know if this is the event 303 is making their re appearance at? If so, seeds are a wrap. (imo)

Sounds dope, went last year was pretty awesome met a bunch of cool peeps there kinda a bit touristy though. They sell out seeds FAST I went first day, kinda middle line, and they were selling a LOT before I could get to the breeders.

I see it as a game changer and I think the event is going to be MUCH LARGER than the Denver event alone.
My reasons for thinking this is because its 3-hours closer to New Mexico and Texas. Expect a HUGE draw of people from out of state to drive in, in addition to the cattle-ferry of cars from Denver down to Pueblo. The Western Slope folks in Montrose, etc will now feel part of the event as well. I think its going to be huger than huge. Just my $.02

Im assuming more room for the event, parking, people, merchandiser, ect. Im excited. Lets see how the Pueblo area handles an event of this magnitude. Not from here but has anything this big ever been there? We are talking the biggest cup in the states.

We went to the first cup in 2013. It was pretty cool. Lots of vendors with stuff I would never buy. I was able to get some beans, but get them quick because the good stuff disappears. Also, get there very early because the line stack up fast. Would be nice to meet up with some fellow growers!

Me too, meeting people is even more important to me than seeing what's on offer.
