Feel free to buy from any LP you want....while the rest of us don't. They were hurting before the ruling...they gonna hurt worse now.
Less customers doesn't equal good times.
And this will most likely lead to rec quicker than thought.
Which will in turn lead to more sales.

They won't be hurting for long. Cash speaks louder than you do.

You have to consider the general attitude of people...lazy...and new patients coming on board have no idea what quality is. Most will be new comers who will buy from LPs and never know that they can grow higher quality pot that is more effective and far less expensive. Just pull out the plastic and pay. These are the future for LPs. In the mean time we will become a minority just like people who grow their own food in the back yard and no one will care.

Nope...they're in trouble..you'll see.
I doubt it. some may be, but most current lp's will get through it.
Hey hippy, have you noticed a boycott on lp's has done more harm than good?

Since the legal sales from lp's took a hit, cc and dispensary busts have gotten worse. Anyone else notice that in the news?

Haha LP touting. A day too late guys. MMPR is unconstitutional. All patients will be offered to grow or someone to grow for them. Don't recall the 7% using PPS(now maricann) when 40k patients were signed? Tax the shit out of rec weed, put it to our schools and offset other taxes. LPs will die. Odd shoppers drug mart was all over the news yesterday saying they want to sell it. Jeez I see one everyday. Bye bye garbage online weed hello pharmacy dope.

Good point, seems they have been harassed a lot more recently. Anyway I don't know how to judge the effectiveness of the boycott, who's keeping track of the numbers? Everything in the financial news suggests that there as been a sufficient response to LPs to keep them in the game and with this new ruling the numbers will increase because people are ignorant. I can't believe that everyone is going to start growing just because they can. Most people are more interested in a new 500" TV and a new car or clothes and don't want to get their hands dirty.

No one is lp touting.
We just see they aren't going away.

So if a huge corporation like SDM decided they wanted in on sales, where would they buy product? It won't be from gorilla growers, undocumented businesses or the BM.

They will only be able to purchase from gov controlled and regulated sources, those sources are the current lp's and newcomers who follow the same rules.

That's a good point. I think investors may be hesitant now and others who are already in the deep end may just scale back until the dust settles.

Kicking a dead horse. Seems your speaking on a financial basis. When looking at the past it shows nobody is buying from corporations. 7% of 40k can't be ignored with PPS. Analyse the situation, doesn't look good for LPs. Watch the stocks that dead cat bounce and it isn't over they will continue to go down until legalization. On a financial route, buying on the dips is what should be done as 1 day they might be the fortune 500s.

Hi.

Yesterday we introduced Tweed’s 10:1 Cannabis Oils to our customers after receiving our oils sales license from Health Canada. Although we’ll be selling this new line of products at noon today, I’m writing to you now to discuss something else, the decision in Allard et al. v Canada, or simply “Allard.”

As I’m sure many of you know, the Federal Court ruled yesterday that certain aspects of the MMPR regulations, the regulations that govern Tweed and all Licensed Producers, do not adequately give patients sufficient access to the medicine we produce. The court has given the federal government six months to address the shortcomings of the program in its current form.

Today I want to assure you that Tweed isn’t going anywhere. Regardless of the regulatory changes, we are optimistic that any changes to the MMPR system will improve your ability to get the medication you rely on, in a way that meets your needs.

Even though the details won’t come for many months, I wanted to take the chance to reassure you, our valued customer, that Tweed will still be here to provide a truly diverse product line and compassionate service to top it off. As the industry evolves we will work hard to continue to provide you with the products and services you've come to expect from our team. You have many producers to choose from and we never take for granted that you continue to choose Tweed as your trusted supplier.

The road ahead excites us and we hope you share the same sense of optimism.

Here’s to Future Growth (Still).

President, Tweed

Well the lps certainly took a kick to the nads. Some will double over and fall away, but some others are innthis for the long haul and have backers with deep deep pockets. They are the same ones that have parliment connections. They wont go away... they are the ones pushing for legislation (legalization) that will eventually protect their market.

This is how business is done. It was the same with alcohol...

40k growing peeps is spit in a deep bucket, compared to what will eventually be millions of customers, in Canada alone....

Us... we are dinosaurs soon to die off... but before we go we can tell our kids of the good old days of weed growing like mad in the basement... and we will shake our heads when we see thier disbelief that we all grew far superior bud...
