A friend of mine grows the same strains has i have but he all ways pushes them a lot longer,the jack herer he leaves till about 10 week sometimes 11,he does not get much more weight wise,the bud just seems to be a bit more of a heavy buzz,i have made oil,from his stuff and its just over powering,great if you want a good nights sleep,i use mine for sleep along with a few other medical needs my wife uses it for several health issues one been sleep she uses twice the amount i use to get her of to sleep,but since we have been making vape oil from the stuff we do i am thinking more of just using most of our crop for the e cig liquids,it blows my nut of,i smoke it where ever i go,but it does smell strong so i have been adding more flavors,like tutti fruiti,to the oil's this kinda hides the smell of the cannabis,it seem's to smell like old school hash we used to get years ago the gold and red seal,would not mind getting hold of some of that old school squidgy,i all ways put a lb in the rick simson oil making that serves 4 of us,and just last for 8 week.

I`d watch out with adding flavours a lot of evidence that the terps you have with your thc/cbd and such can affect the buzz big time

Like a sativa day time high is partly due to the fact that indicas have more of the terps you`d find in hops, I can`t remember the name of it, its in mango`s too, actually some people are saying that having mangos with your weed eating them and smelling them can make for more of a bed time stone then your old school hazy high...... not tried it myself I like to just grow some stinky indica`s and have some fruity sativa too

My weakness is fruity indica`s but from seed they obviously don`t always deliver, meaty and garlic indicas are nice too

I used to load a little bubblegum or watermelon shisha if I was out in a bar using my arizer solo, still stank of green but takes the edge off a bit

more throwing the box of shisha on the table that seems help people deal with it better, they see the box and think "oh its not weed" lol

Thanks for the info, I'm going to try your method and will report back with results in a couple weeks. We always slow cure @ 65 degrees f and 65% humidity sometimes for as long as 30 days to achieve smoothness and taste. So any shortening of time would be welcome.
I'm always surprised at the trolls, you would think people would be less assholes here given the nature of the site but I guess we're always stuck with the least common denominator peace

When they are ready simply water em with boiling water and leave em under the lights 3~4 days then chop, It speeds up the cure :)

I went back and read this thread. Interesting stuff. Do you leave the lights on 24hrs or stick with the lighting schedule?

Some of my plants have amber hairs already, one in particular, the one I grew out with a flat canopy to practice playing with LST, has loads on every bud but we're only 37 days since the flip. That's what's got my mate convinced they're gonna be ready in a week, but I'm sure they are not that far on! Does it mean anything at all the hairs being amber at this stage?

Hello everyone,
I went an visited with Rid yesterday.
He introduced me to a few of the strains he has created.
The first thing we smoked was the Colorado Thunder Fuck.
We had around 1/2 a jay or less.
Rid is right!
There is no ceiling with this stuff!
It is smooth, great tasting weed!
We also smoked some Holy Diver and right before I left, I got a smooooooth bong rip of Wonderland.
All of his smoke has an earthy hash taste.
Like incense with floral undertones of coffee and spice.
What I find most impressive, is most of the buds I saw that he grows are reddish brown, loaded with well cured brown/red pistils everywhere.
I brought some green Crack and Kosher Kush.
My Green Crack looks like lime Jello compared to his reddish brown trich-laden buds.
Totally different look and taste.
He gave me a nice sample of this one he calls, "Little Bush".
It was a "one and done", since he has no seeds or clone.
I smoked this one when i got home last night.
I love this treasure and would have considered this an excellent strain!
Like I said, the four that I sampled all have a similar look, taste and bud density.
I will do a proper smoke report later this morning.
The labels rubbed off the bags, but I am a quick study and remembered and re-labeled them last night.
I also have some beans of Rid"s recent work...
Colorado Thunder Fuck (which just moved up the batting order to, "on deck"),
and several other great project beans.
Most of the seeds are connected by lineage and stages of crosses.
I want to grow the Holy Diver also.
My Green Crack is like a shiny sports-car.
It hauls ass, will get you there, but Rids smoke is like a slow creeping tank that will drive right over the top of that shiny car and crush it with old school steel!

Ok...so Holy Diver is very good also!
I couldn't stop at one hit.
I had four.
It gave me a couple real good expansive draws.
I got a little choked up when I got over ambitious.
The Hold Diver socks you between the eyes right away.
It has that light pressure you feel building behind your forehead.
It's almost like someone is inflating your head with fairy dust.
You feel it between the eyes right away, and then it gets a little more foggy.
Not a couchlocker though.
I am on my back porch on a beautiful sunny morn, and the colors and hues are so bright and purty!
I feel like when I smoke a good haze.
I have that light fog, but everything is bright and colorful.
Kind of an oxymoron...Bright fog.
I could do some fishing and hiking on this!

Of all of Rid's I have smoked, I like them all for the following reasons..
CTF, because it was awesome and the buzz had legs.
Namaste for the tatse, smell, beauty all around.
Lil Bush for a serious cutter when you have been smoking other weed all day.
Holy Diver for a quick hard hitter that gives some bright colorful get up and do shit buzz.

That's how it worked for me.
I am going to drop a couple CTF Rid, I want to get that one going soon.
That 1/2 jay we first smoked was the best of all of them!
I would smoke all of them and be thrilled, I just like them in that order.
That Lil Bush was the shit Rid!

As I sit here contemplating the odour free, damp, badly treated and unloved former plant that sits before me, I really wish I could get my hands on something you've grown man! I can't wait til I'm smoking my own and don't have to buy this crap anymore, but I'm pretty damn sure I'd be even happier smoking your homegrown than my own!

I don't wanna fill your thread up with massive pictures! They're the most recent pics I've taken, I apologise for having the hps on but I keep forgetting to take them at lights on/off! You can't really see anything very clearly on them, but they're all I've got from within the last week.

That's what I figured. We'll be at 8 weeks on the 10th, that's when I'll start looking them over for signs but I'm in no rush, they'll stay up until they're ready. Thanks for looking. Is having brown pistils already anything I need to worry about though? I'll try to remember to take proper pictures at lights out, I can get ok close ups with my tablet's camera, I just forget cos when I've had a heavy day I'm more heavily medicated so by 8pm lights off, I'm straight to bed once they're all tucked in!

I will play. This is the first of an un-named cross I made. I had polinated a platinum Bubba with a Lemon OG that I call Bubba Louy. Then I used pollen from a Bubba Louy on a Holy grail and got this. This is week 8 with 30% or so amber.

I also used some Bubba Louy pollen on a Xj13. I have one of those in the greenhouse selfing and need to name it also.
I cannot wait to sample them and see if my efforts have been worth the time.

No amber ? I think I see some on some of the sweet leaf but some people would call that cloudy or yellow cloudy

Still I`d go for more a lot more

it`s 5% amber at best

maybe 30% cloudy

Still frosty looking plant :)
