Then why do you not recognize an admitted and confirmed ISIS terrorist killing in Florida Monday morning ? You wait for FBI approval, don`t you ?

Dude, you can't tell the difference between your wild ass guess and a report from a credible source. It doesn't have to be the FBI but @OddBall1st has the credibility of Charlie Manson. I don't expect you to take my word for it either. My wild ass guess is that the guy had not made previous contact with ISIS and was just doing what nuts do when he shouted ISIS. Also that ISIS didn't know him from a stripper who uses Isis as a stage name. So, it's your wild ass guess against mine. Which basically means we don't really know.

Take a few deep breaths and repeat: "it's just an internet rumor" about a million times. It will do you good.

So the report from the 911 operator was What ? A misleading lie ?

You do know that there is no application to join or die for ISIS, correct ?

Why is it when a guy yells Christian, you believe and use as examples, but when a guy yells ISIS, you need more facts ?

Totally disagree. Haven't churches (and mosques and temples) done enough fucking harm already that we can stop recommending them to people? In the wake of yet another religion-inspired shooting you would think this would be even more abundantly clear. Scared people going to church is WHY shit like this keeps happening.

I agree that he probably didn't have contact with ISIS before hand, but his father was pretty vocally pro-Taliban ("Our brothers in Waziristan, our warrior brothers in [the] Taliban movement and national Afghan Taliban are rising up”- Mateen's Father), and combined with the 911 call I have no reason to doubt that he was motivated by ISIS ideology even if he hadn't made contact. As a matter of fact, this tactic (inspiring independent acts of violence by previously unrelated supporters as opposed to planning each attack themselves) is, in part, what sets ISIS apart from previous terror groups. This is exactly what they want to happen, people with no previous contact to them sacrificing themselves to their cause while causing the maximum amount of carnage first.

It's the mass media attention of shootings that probably helped spawn him and others like him. That has nothing to do with isis.

He made the call before he acted. How can you say the media is to blame before he acted ?

Do you think repeating that this is the worst mass killing in US history will help keep the next numbers down ?
