injunction/court case updates

We have to remember its an authorization and not a prescription.
And health Canada needs to remember a patients right to autonomy over one's health. It doesn't really matter if they call it a prescription or an authorization. If cannabis works to treat your ailment, you have a right to access the amount required to bring you relief. If Phelan just ruled that includes being able to grow, then setting a 6 plant limit is not answering the access issue. If it is not considered a prescription then there is no need for a doctor to be involved, and Health Canada does not have the mandate to 'authorize or refuse' something that is my constitutional right.

Being happy with 6 plants is not feasible. I have complete autonomy over my health now, I don't exceed my count and I don't give my medication to anybody. Nobody needs to support me nor does anybody have to oversee my garden. The fact that they cannot provide me with one good reason for the LP system above and beyond it being a make work project for the government and that it supports those who can't/don't know how/or have no space to grow. I can/know how and do have space to grow. With the investment I have put forth to build and maintain my garden I don't feel that shutting down is the right thing to do in order to add more fees to my health support system.

I don't want to have part of my medication coming from another source nor do I want to be told to be happy with 6 plants because someone else has 0 right now. I don't want to sound callous but I am sick, I don't not care about how other patients take care of themselves day in and day out in the grand scheme of things. I want you all to find relief, live a better quality of life and enjoy the time you have with family and friends but nobody has any influence on my well being in regards to my day to day affairs because of the debilitating health issue I suffer from which will not improve and only get worse as I age. Its already cost me 2 very good Federal and Provincial government jobs.

I am not waiting for somebody to tell me that I cannot order "pink kush", "jack herer" or whatever else because they are out of stock, on recall, i have to buy in 14 g increments...whatever the case is it will never be for me. I cross the genetics together I am interested in pursuing for pain relief and then spend grow after grow after grow jumping down the rabbit hole to find what I am looking for in subsequent filial generations. Somebody else pheno hunting for me is not a sound endeavor, they don't have my health issues and don't understand the relief required.

I am not beholden to any LP and my government cannot make that the case. Its a simple personal stand. I have a need for help and I will help myself. SCOC will take the pleasure of readjusting the system once again by defaulting the fascist structuring of the new program. The injunction will still be valid until Phelan says so regardless of what HC writes up for August 24th, 2016.

Just make it a Natural Heath Product and be done with all the semantics....wait nobody makes ludicrous profits that way? oh ok so 6 plants each.... solo cup or 15 gallon planter doesn't matter just 6 plants :) see how ridiculous that sounds and why its just going to be for recreational smokers who own their own homes. They are not able to put the toothpaste back in the tube after its been on the bathroom counter since 2001.

My heart bleeds for everyone in this fight, we just have different perspectives because of differing personal needs
in some cases and that is the crux of our infighting/arguing. We are not fighting each other but an unjust system. Good luck with yourselves and have a stress free/pain relieved day!

*Just vaporizing a 14 week Sugar Punch pheno (Super Silver Haze cotton candy pheno) hand watered in my recycled organic living soil (8th generation) that I have been tending to for over 3 years. SSH is divine :)

I agree and il still support whatever force the mmj can come up with to fight HC.

IMO, if the program is complete shit. Dont sit around bitching about it. Grow illegally and do what you have to do. Ive been med since 08-09 and im fed up with HC and how people get treated. Il take care of me and my family in need. Anybody who cant i feel deeply for.

"Need something done, do it yourself!"
but what about your house if you get busted?

I agree but does tour government, hence I was saying do what you have to do and don't rely 100 on August 24. Don't get me wrong il be jumping up and down if it's mmar rules.

Prove you have a medical need. I don't recall seeing a med patient being subject to civil forfeiture
in some areas of the country they will post a do not occupy order on your house due to the illegal grow, and make you get inspections for electrical, mold etc., rendering the medical grower homeless due to the thousands of dollars of "remediation" needed.

I'm not going to argue it. Il be sure to say "told ya so" on the 24th...I expect and hope for the same in return. I want to be wrong. Can you tell I've lost faith in HC?

You guys all expect the gov who fucked us up the ass to now do us a favor?

If they allow us any grow rights, period then technically that fits the bill. It's not right but this is what will happen.

I've also heard that they may grandfather in the old plant counts for you mmar folks and new patients will be capped at six. But I honestly feel like that's wishfull thinking.

Not so, imo. Simply allowing 6 plants will not satisfy the court. If I don't have access to 100% of the meds I need, then I still face barriers. This is the government, so odds are they will try some bullshit, but Phelan has the final say. I also don't see mmar being granted different rules than others...any new system will need to treat all patients equally to be constitutional.

The grandfathering thing would NEVER fly. Simply because if Tom got cancer 5 years ago and is grandfathered in, why cant Bob who was just diagnosed get a higher count then 6? Simply because something out of his control happened at a later date? This would be like saying Toms cancer is more important than Bobs.

It would never stand in court. The only thing that would be "unbiased" accross the board would be to keep using a gram per day plant count formula.
