To SCROG or not to SCROG

Insane. I wish I had the room for a crop like that! I'm going to look into a slightly different setup next time but in the meantime I'm looking forward to the outcome of my current plant. This is my 4th go at growing and have to say that I have definitely improved from my first attempt lol. First two plants were not much bigger than a bottle of water. The third I grew outside on my balcony and maybe grew to the size of a 2L pop bottle lol. This one though is a mega bush so far. Stem is as thick as my pinky:) As for whether to HST or not I found that really gets the ball rolling after the initial hump. What are you growing in?
I started using organic soils but switched to coco coir, I was also hand watering which was another mistake inconsistent watering at different times didn't help the plants grow at optimum. So I set up a
reservoir and started a recirculated system which made all the difference the plants just loved it and when insanely bushy and fast and that was under flouro's while I was waiting for the components for
my DIY.

of your setup.. I'm looking to do the same. I run coco and it's annoying watering by hand
Ok it's a pretty simple set up but i go and take some pictures for you. I'll post them soon. Trust me bro makes a big difference I was reluctant because of the extra bit's you have to run
but the power consumption was really minimal and replacing my pumps and aerators is cheap.
This is my light set up 24 x CXB3590 COB's in 2 8x4 Tents

Ok here's my set up I have a 50 litre reservoir feeding into 20 litre buckets and they are sitting in another bucket so it's like a dutch bucket system
the pump is just a small garden fountain pump which is on a timer that feeds 2 x a day for 15 minutes once in the am and one in the pm. I have a aquarium air pump pumping air into the reservoir to keep water well oxygenated. I also use a blue lab truncheon to keep an eye on nutrient levels.

yeah I have two 55 gal barrels I'm using to water. they each have a spicket and hose attached but I was looking for something a little more automated. so you're doing 2 5 gal buckets, your runoff goes back into the res, and you have a pump attached to a timer in your res going out to drip lines\halo ...shit if I was rich.....if you don't mind me asking how much would it be for a 4 plant setup? I have a good pump and I have the two barrels..

the aquarium pump was $20 the air pump was about the same....the expensive part was the truncheon but worth it when running a recirc system,
I run nutrients for 7 days then flush and replace it works a treat. Each of my tents have 6 plant scrog 3 plants under each 4 x4 section of a 8x4 tent with 24 COB's (the right COBs are probably your biggest expense) yes all run off goes back into reservoir but you monitor daily with truncheon and ph meter

You should always use a trellis if you can. the plant will make more buds with support instead of trying to fix its stem when it snaps. if you can, do it. youll woncer why you didnt do it before. it ma,es growing so much easier when you dont need a dozen sticks per plant. one or two nets set up properly and call it a grow.

Cool each to there own where it comes to medicating or recreational use.....I must admit i love the art of getting the best out of your grow but's a bit hard to be selective
where I live as it is illegal, so it makes it hard to get well known seed varieties to start with.
