Automation predictable?

1-Wait until they are offline and see how many stick around for their pink sludge..

2-With automation come employment opportunity for IT.

3-And frankly, those 'screens for accuracy' when ordering are run by the equivalent of chimps..when I have to say 'I didn't order that'..automation is a welcome change.

Maybe the price of their shit will go down!

Not enough of them. Eating the poor is better. A shrinking pool means more fish in a smaller place.
But if we eat the richer ones, we can always redistribute their wealth. Who the fuck is going to tell a mass of wealthy miser-eating cannibals they can't redistribute wealth that isn't necessarily theirs?

Automation was going to happen with or without the $15 min wage, corporate America is constantly looking for ways to maximize profit could the $15 hasten the push for automation, absolutely but it was gonna happen anyway.
But it is called "increasing worker productivity". Business is good with shit like this. In my day "continuous improvement" was a big buzzword. I saw it for what it was - the Peter Principle of stuff - make shit cheaper until it fails.

The problem with this is it does not consider the social cost.

Business Productivity = more for them..getting one worker to do the job of another, then another..before you know it you are doing the work of 5 people.

Squeeze, squeeze and squeeze..if you wish to keep your job i.e. survival to pay rent. That IS the ONE thing you must pay and employers know this.
