What would your mom say if she went in your room and found that shit man? Not trying to be a dick but thats disrespectful as hell. Wait till you have your own place to grow imo.

Good job on the plants, but think things through.

What about this post leads u to believe I'm not self sufficient??...

Jus to let ya know homey I got my own crib... Dog...Girl... couch n cable television n all that...o_O
And cfls.. I think he assumed because your lack of "better" lighting you most not be able to afford it and therefore probably also live at home with your mom.

Or maybe he was just confused

Ok...
I guess...
Surely a man would never jus have a little set up for a personal plant or two keepin it simple w a few cfls which as seen above, can turn out a decent plant occasionally...
But yeah...
A bttr set up would b nice...
I could come up w a million reasons why... I could defend CFLs n debate how they are best for small grows such as cabinets or closets etc...I could explain how i don't live in a legal state n have zero access to any lighting it grow supply stores other than the internet n I live in an apt n don't wanna have stuff delivered here/there... seeds, lights, fans, nutes....
But I guess if motivated enuf I could work around any of those obstacles...the money is there occasionally to upgrade, just sayin... idk...maybe you'll see me postin on here in the future w a bttr set up...
Let's hope so...

@MrVega2 you probably already seen me post this already... I think you should do a direct swap.

Buy a couple phillips 8 pack led bulbs, less heat, less electric, better coverage & more yield.

http://m.homedepot.com/p/Philips-100W-Equivalent-Soft-White-A19-LED-Light-Bulb-8-Pack-461961/207063617?gclid=CNC0qbPn1NACFUuRfgodvCcI8Q&gclsrc=aw.ds

Im willing to bet directly swapping them would bump your yield in a closet like that.
I actually grabbed a couple packs the other day...
They're on stand by until flowering when I'll add more lights...

N yeah looked like less watts...n less heat... possibly...not that the cfls put off much anyway...I put in one of the LEDs to see how it looked warmed up n it seemed like the base got a little warm... Not the actual bulb but the base/plastic part of the bulb...idk... we'll see

Yeah they get hot because the driver is built into the bulb, it will drop temps a bit that's no doubt trust me

You can unscrew led bulbs with your bare hands, cant do that with cfls unless you man it up lol.
