DIY with Quantum Boards

Hi All,

I am currently an LED grower but VERY eager to try these new QB's.

I am in the UK and finding it very hard to get all the bits and pieces together therefore is there anyone in the UK who has a ready made unit(s) who is prepared to sell?

I know it is a long shot but if you do not ask you will never know.

hello,

im from the UK as well and just recieved my order 2 weeks ago. i have zero diy skills. been lurking around in these diy forums for a few weeks before i had the balls to order and build one myself without previous experience in building anything.
it was easy to set up everything. i only bought these wagoo connectors from ebay for a pound. plug and play basically. i bought one UK power plug. wired it after watching a youtube tutorial. really easy mate. and the package came with the right driver, all the wires, all the screws and a hanger. if you had lego technics when you were young this will be a piece of cake. done everything under 20 min.
light is great so far.

Cant say enough about these quantum boards. The Kwh savings alone are worth the purchase for anyone contemplating. I have absolutely no reason to crank up my window ac anymore. No more than 4 degrees higher than ambient temps in my grow. Its amusing that people were trying to categorize these boards as mere sidelighting a few months ago. That haterade must be pretty sour by now lol.

We could do Stephen and Robin a huge service by leaving an honest review on their website.

I would really like to see pictures of others results and how many boards are they hanging in their space. I know upload doesn't work at the moment but if you could use any other upload service and link the pics that would be much appreciated ;)

I'm on week 7 ish flowering under the board and I'm very impressed
I'm guessing The 90 watt kit should give me a qp easy from two plants
The buds are smaller than normal because I seeded several branches
But they are good enough to make me want at least 4 more boards as soon as I can get back in stock

@ttystikk That is a really clean build, simple design and well within hobby growers budgets I would think.
Some images of it on here would be nice.
Thanks for posting it.

Hey guys,

DIY imbecile here...

Could you guys have a look and check if my build looks wired up correctly, please?

This is the first light I've ever put together so I'm somewhat nervous.

Also, what's this yellow and green wire attached to the frame with a 3 way Wago(222) on the end of it? Am I meant to plug something in to the two open ports?

Peace.
