FWIW my friend is a professional photo restorer. I will skip all the techno babble and get to the point. In his opinion if you want photos that are better than a typical camera a photographer uses (not digital) you would need to get something digital that does at least 10 mega pixels. This guy was able to fix my wedding photos that were really really bad.

Jeez not sure if I should say anything, the spies my out me, LOL. I am reading as much as I can at both forums about many growing techniques, nutrients, equipment etc..
So it is all good. This place is like home though, first and foremost.

Nice, are you noticing more frost with your Cob's ? Since my paperwork is in the mail and I am legal now I can post some pictures.
Cheers, definitely. I'd grown under Cree 3070's and they were Ok but CMH was better. Switched to the 3590's a couple of runs ago and definitely noticed more frost/terps, some of my old phenos were like running new strains there was such a difference. Definitely recommended if you don't mind putting out a bit of cash up-front. Savings long term and quality are worthwhile...

Plants sure do love the CXB 3590 spectrum, are you running 3500k ? I am running 36 CXB3590 @ 50 watts each with a mix of 3500 and 3000k. I am at day 36 from the flip and can’t believe how the frost is building. I have seen two different lab results from two different posters running HPS vs COB’s and both times the THC content was higher by 10% on the COB’s, 10% is a lot. Like you say the colors really pop with the CXB3590.

Unless my math is off thats a draw of 1800W from the wall? Shiiiiiit, id love to see that light, must be massive. I started looking into COBs a month or so ago. Growmau5 is a good youtuber with a ton of knowledge and design ideas.

Has a LOT to do with the size of the CCD chip in a digital camera. Phones and tablets manage well considering how small it is, but lighting goes a long way to improving photo quality for those devices
