FBI investigations are partisan witch hunts now?

LOL
The FBI investigation into Jane Sanders conduct at Burlington College is absolutely a Republican witch hunt;

"The original request for an investigation into the potential bank fraud did indeed come from Brady Toensing, an attorney who chaired Trump’s Vermont campaign, and whose January 2016 letter to the U.S. attorney for Vermont put federal agents on the trail."

YOU are pushing Republican talking points.

why would they continue the investigation like they have if there was nothing there though?

just because it was a republican who noticed that jane sanders defrauded a bank to bankrupt a college and give herself a golden parachute doesn't mean there's nothing there.

why else would jane lawyer up?

and as far as lawyers go, bernie would have one.

Because that's their job?

Spoken like a true Trump supporter

Because that's her right?
i've never had to lawyer up when "republicans" went after me.

then again, i've never defrauded a bank while bankrupting a college and giving myself a golden parachute.

won't release his taxes, under federal criminal investigation, has already lawyered up...smells like guilty from a mile away to me.

but i'll let the investigation run its course without complaint, just like i did when hillary was being investigated for obviously bogus charges. she never lawyered up, she even offered to testify under oath, and did for 11 hours. there was never a whiff of guilt there.

Do you believe hiring a lawyer assumes guilt, or not?

Why can't you answer that simple question?

depends on the case really.

in this case it seems bad for them.
So in your mind, simply hiring a lawyer is an admission of guilt, depending on your own subjective interpretation of the case?

Nice, you're putting yourself above a jury of peers and condemning people according to your own perception and beliefs. That's what the legal system was put in place for after all..

not always.

sometimes people hire lawyers to go after people that have wronged them. i don't think of them as guilty in that case, i think of them as ready to kick some ass.

but nerbie and jane just seem guilty based on how they are handling this criminal investigation into their bank fraud.

I'd lawyer up in the face of a witch-hunt too.
