oh several rounds of selective breeding take and use only the non auto ones for parents and it is pretty fast as long as ya pay close attention to when things happen as they are growing
Ya that sounds a lot like what research farms do for new vegetable crosses... I used to work for a vegetable breeding company in Albion (Johnny's Selected Seeds), and they told me it takes like 3-7 rounds of inbreeding F1's (in your case - gooberry OG x poison warp seeds) to fully stabilize a cross for any flowering plant.

Now does that mean you throw away all the autos? And hope for semi-auto traits to show up down the road in later generations? I remember seeing a semi-auto Stumble Berry strain you did that finished in late August / Early Sept.

All I know is that I'm going to strictly grow your strains next year cause I don't wanna wait till Late Sept / early October when central Maine gets 50% chances of frosts starting on Sept. 30

well i take all the very first ones ( autos) and put aside and then keep 1 female and 1 male semi auto or the last ones to show sex and breed just them 2 and then take them seeds and do it again until i get mostly semi auto's still get a couple really early ones out of a hundred plants but somewhere in between auto and semi auot lol.

Oh fuck ya, thanks for the info. When do you start early strains inside? Those are big plants.

Glad to have guys like you selectively breeding those early, mold resistant strains for the short season growers out there. Gotta get that Stumble berry, poison warp and R-2

I gotta get me some of that R2 for next year or some of the crosses with it...unreal I still have a 2-3 weeks in most of my early ones , not complaining though as most of mine were mid to late October last year.
My R2s are impressive. Not nearly as big as getaway but they are the stickiest damn plants I have ever seen. These dark purple branches could be used as fly traps lol

Breeding question for ya getaway. Is there a point when its too late to pollenste a bud? I have a R2 thats probably 1 month into flowering and I was wanting to hit a branch with a killer male skidder I have
i usually dont pollinate after they are a couple weeks into budding becuase ya get too many inmature seeds but where they are both early strains you will get some finished seeds and some not but worth a try if ya got pollen ready to use now go for it its worth the gamble on a branch they are both good strains to cross and should make vital seeds after 40 days or so just let the branch stay alive as long as possible and you should be good to go -- make some beans buddy lol i just made a batch of the early red stocked r-2 that came out great black as hell haha and is the early pheno isolated now

I want some of those haha, I just hit a few branches with my maniak crack x getaway special that was a really nice male showing lots of purple. Honey bee x skidder trail and stumbleweed along with a getaway special and a maniak crack x getaway special. The stumbleweed only has s few weeks left so I'll let that branch go as long as it can as I had a lot of immature seeds in the early one I pulled due to mold a few weeks back that was pollinated.

I'm going to be doing a getaway run next season wondering if I start them inside under t5 n veg em decent size then chuck out doors if they will be fine like a regular photo plant n just start then or if cause they early finishers they'll flowers wrong time etc... any help at all is much appreciated
just start them all in mid to late april and they will pre sex under 18 hr light in around 45 days then put outside first of june here in maine and you are good to go dont start them in march or they dont like it when going outside and will bud out by design they are made to fit the short season we got to work with also have ya inside light set to the same as what outside will be when you put outside and they will just keep growing like regular photo plant

most strains got only 2 phenos except stumbleweed has 4 all good but all alittle different
Two diff phenos of the Poison Warp, the one on the right has always been a lighter green with reddish stems.20170829_071851.jpg
Not sure which way the R2P and IA are leaning as I only had 1 female of each. So far the growth has been outstanding. I can easily see 5lbs of bud between the two.20170829_071909.jpg 20170829_072553.jpg

I just wanna put my experience in here for getaways genetics. I started mine out in June and transplanted them into one gallon containers after about 30 days in nursery trays, indoor under 1000w HPS dual spectrum light. They were on a 17/7 light schedule. I did start to notice some flowers growing on the Island Afghani, the poison warp just showed the normal pre sex pistils, so decided to up the veg time to 20/4 hours and they are now vegging fine. They vegged out pretty damn big in those one gals, so a couple weeks ago I transplanted again into 3 gallon containers this time still vegging on a 20/4 hour light cycle and doing amazing! Once they fill in the 3 gallon containers with roots, i'm gonna transfer them to the final destination outdoors in 10 to 20 gallon grow bags to flower on out. At the time of transplanting them from one gallon to 3 gallon I went ahead and put some in 10 gallon and put them outdoors, about 2 and a half weeks ago and they are doing fantastic as far as gtowth spurts go and flowering correctly. Only problem I have had is not mixing my nutes strong enough during the transplant/watering in when I put them outdoor and noticed the classic sign of nitrogen deficiency "yellowing from the bottom up, particularly on the island afghanis so they must really like the nitrogen. I corrected that a few days ago by increasing the nutes by half, throwing in some epsom salts and earth juice catalysts to the nute mixture. Then I did a walk through and sprayed them with a foilar mix of earth juice sea blast grow, epsom salts, sea weed juice and catalysts. They loved it and have since greened back up again and reaching for the sun.

The ones I have in 3 gallon bags still vegging indoor look fantastically healthy, more so than any other genetics in a sense of stability that I have ever ran personally. Only thing gets me is they are about 3 to 4 foot tall depending on strain and have like 9 to 15 nodes (side branching) from the bottom up which is a good thing, but they are not really branching out just tall and lots of shoots sticking out about an inch or two. Either they will branch out and get bushy when I sit them outdoors and they kick into flowering or i'm gonna have to top them and try that route one or the two. Getaway does this sound normal?

I also wanna recommend this product to people if you want incredible root expansion fast at explosively fast rates. It is expensive but man between this stuff and sea weed juice I have never seen such fast growth in my entire life.
