'..Black Voters Don't Like Bernie Sanders'

I agree. The Democratic party is just as corrupt and in the pockets of Big Business as the Republicans.

Running as an independent candidate will make it possible for people to make a clear choice.

Democratic Party apparatchiks- I'm looking at you and yours, @UncleBuck -should rightly fear such a development, because it will drain the base of voters you've been counting on getting and then not representing.
no i welcome bernie starting hs own party!

Bernie is an independent. He could run as a Republican next time and you could then find out how well he polls with that crowd. Is it your thesis that Bernie would have done better in the general election than in the Democratic Primary?

Until Bernie gains significant support from Black and Hispanic voters, he can't win the Democratic nomination.
he has 70%+ support from black communities. hispanic even greater. didn't you read the OP?

Floridians Who Wrote in Bernie Sanders or Jokes Got Donald Trump Elected

Remember way back in November when your most insufferable Facebook friends were insisting there was zero difference between Trump and Clinton? Besides, they cynically insisted, Trump would never do all of that crazy stuff he kept promising! Who cares whom you vote for?

If there's any justice in the world, those same friends have watched in abject horror as Trump has thrown democratic norms out the window, threatened allies and enemies alike on Twitter, and generally sowed world chaos in his first two weeks as president. Now evidence suggests that people like them played a big role in putting Trump in the White House

Clinton beat Bernie. Do you really think he would have beaten Trump in the general election? If so, why doesn't Bernie run as a Republican the next time? Bernie can't win the Democratic nomination unless he does something to address his poor polling results with Black and Hispanic Democrats. What has Bernie done since the end of the election season to gain their votes? I'm not saying he can't, I'm just saying his speeches and statements have been completely whitewashed in terms of addressing issues of social equality and he hasn't spent much if any time meeting with the Black and Hispanic delegations of the party.

You mean the candidate the Democrat smashed by 3 million votes?

By your logic if Bernie is so great then why'd he lose (in a landslide) to the woman who lost to the least popular candidate ever?

No, you’re right. Clearly Hillary was the right person for the job. No question.

I’ve already conceded that Bernie should run as an Independent. His platform does not line up well with the dem party, or dem voters. I’m all for it too. I’d love to see more viable options for potus.
