Is it time to harvest? Cloudy trichomes

Let me re phrase that. What did I say that was part of a debate. I was making statements that I thought were true, I was not debating anyone. If someone on RIU thinks what I said is untrue they will be quick to tell me so, so I don't understand were I was debating. Just saying IDK.

I should explain @KaylasKush
Sometimes I speak in a way that comes across wrong. It happens a lot online. I'm working on it. I will leave. Just wanted to help, doesn't always come out that way.
Happy Growing! :peace:

come On, there's no need to mock.
We're all meant to be brothers in the community of cannabis.
Kaylaskush has explained her ways and experimenting.
I tend to turn to books occasionally and forums the reason being that you can't find books on certain strains and most grow differently.
And peoples opinions on here are there own experience.
A lot of symptoms with plants can look similar to other problems through visuals on the leaf.
E.g nute burn looks similar to a calcium difficiencies.
I don't understand why your on RIU when most debates start with more than one person.
Yeah I absolutely love the cannabis community, I think we all have so much love and unity because this plant genuinely teaches you a lot. I refuse to reply to those who don’t understand my perspective or know me as a person. I don’t have to justify myself.
It’s okay. I’ll learn on my own as we all do in life right!
Agreed. Books can’t be used for everything. If I want an answer to something specific I’d need to flip through the book and find the sentence with the solution? No I’d rather take the quicker way and ask growers.

Being a curious person by nature I looked for feedback on my weed. Naturally I asked the ones consuming it.
What I discovered is that people were unable to accept that I had no emotional attachment, I simply needed data
so I could figure out was happening or not happening.

Eventually I stopped telling them if it was indica or sativa etc...
I simply said smoke this and tell me what it does for you. Likes, dislikes.

The next thing I discovered is that the same weed hits everyone different and there was nothing consistent from person to person
besides they were all red eyed and stoopit...
I learned in the restaurant biz that people eat with their eyes, we are given to the placebo effect.

If I told those people what this weed should do for them, it usually did.
(my point) YOU do the experiments if you really want to KNOW.
But be sure you are not confusing a bad cure for shitty tasting weed.
For the experiment to work you need to be consistent, same nutes, same strain, same pheno, same schedule, clones. Etc...

I can say that I have tried flushing and not flushing with soil
and have never had dry, cured weed that burned weird. It all burned like a class alpha fire.
It made smoke and left an ash.
I have grown weed that was harsher and nastier tasting than others when I messed up the very important
step of drying and curing.

I dont grow hydro so I have zero data that I can vouch for personally

Also if I remember correctly plants do not bite off chunks of iron exactly
I think they uptake ions or some such shit. I don`t know I`m not a chef..
But that concept helped me to understand at least that there were no iron pellets coursing through my plants

That’s fine, I have no grudges against you. It’s the internet, we don’t always express what we’d like how we want and it becomes messy. We can’t read how someone wants to come across through words.
For example I must have come off immature to you somewhere along the line when in actual fact I grew up at the young age of 13 and I really struggled to mix with my age group. If only I were a little more immature, to fit in.

As I’ve said from the beginning, thank you very much to everyone for taking time out of their day to try and guide someone asking for help online. I will always appreciate feedback whether it was helpful or not.

Fair enough but I don't understand what this line means:

you are going to get debates as there are more than one person sharing there experiences.
It seems this forum annoys you more than anything. That's why I asked why do you come on RIU.

This was really interesting to read, thanks. You definitely took the experimentation into your own hands there, haha! Love it.
While I fully believe in the placebo effect, I do also believe certain strains are what they say. I smoked super silver haze when I first began smoking and it instantly became a favourite. Didn’t find it again for over a year. The dealers here don’t always tell you the strain name, and I had smoked some green which I instantly thought “this MUST be super silver!” so I asked the dealer and he said “yeah how do you know?”.
But who the hell knows, he could’ve been lying.
I wouldn’t be surprised about it being different for different people, the mind is a powerful thing and if you read “this is going to make you giggle” you’re probably going to feel that way.

Maybe it was indeed bad curing then. But I did also watch a YouTube video where he demonstrated a flushed and unflushed joint and it was the same signs of what I had smoked. You can understand why a beginner would put two and two together. Like I said, I’ll just have to not flush one myself of the same strain and see on my own.

For sure you will recognize a familiar strain. I can spot sour d a mile away. Lol. And I absolutely understand the internet is upsetting. Especially on your first couple grows. The internet is the best horrible invention I can think of.

If I see additional growth and swelling during flush period and I pull of similar yields to people that don't flush
I flushed or fed plain water for 10 days before harvest and I noticed the buds where still growing and they where ROCK hard.

I flush for example with direct tap water which is around 250ppm, then I should add this instead of RO water as this still has nutes in it which means I'm not starving my plant.
Too true... I flush, but if I had the space I would do 2 plants 1 for flush and 1 non flush..
See the problem with this info? How can you argue for or against something you've never done or tried once? If you want to flush your plants go ahead, but you should have at least tried something for yourself before offering advice on the subject. These forums and youtube can be entertaining but there's a lot of misinformation to dig through lets not add to it. Flying everyday doesn't make you a pilot.

All I can smell is pineapple. Harvested two weeks ago and my house, my clothes etc stink of pineapple.the smell is permanently up my nose.
I think I would struggle to recognise anything else at the minute lol.
I think il go on a sunbed then dye my hair green to look like a pineapple.
First time grown but I think it will be the last time..

Listen I didn't mention flush in this post. I agree with what was being said that I would leave flushing if I had the space to grow 2 plants.
You need to read things properly.
Also the info above was in a different post mentioning flush or not,
Posting that info on here was useless as that's not what the post is about..
and I'm not arguing....
Where in this post am I creating a argument.
And I have tried something, I've flushed, the plant still grows and I get good result.
If you read this post properly kaylaskush mentioned flushing, not to get feedback ,but to say that the online community is going crazy about flush or not.
I only agree with people flushing because I do it myself so I will share my knowledge on how long etc...
So I do know one side off the argument as I have flushed,
I'd just like an explaination as to why you think I'm giving bad advice when kaylaskush mentioned flush,
So it's something that's been in the mind from when KK started. This must of been info that was shared at some point.

You go on about not flushing because buds swell through having feed until harvest.
I've checked out your pics and your buds don't look no bigger than what I pull off.
What's your previous weights per plant and will see what your chattin.
Your first post in the thread.
Where in this post am I creating a argument.
Your first post in the thread.
So I do know one side off the argument as I have flushed,
Right, you know one side
I've flushed, the plant still grows and I get good result.
Compared to what?? something you've never done? It's people like you that perpetuate this bullshit. You say you'd try not flushing if you had room right, meaning you've only done it one way so you have NOTHING to compare but pics and youtube video's.
I'm glad you have agreed.
I'm not the only one that believes in growing the same way people have grown for years and years..
How are you able to flush immobile nutrients? If it's been done for years and years it should be easy for you to explain.
http://msue.anr.msu.edu/news/knowing_nutrient_mobility_is_helpful_in_diagnosing_plant_nutrient_deficienc
Once inside plants, nutrients are transported to where they are needed, typically to growing points. Once incorporated by the plant, some elements can be immobile while others can be remobilized. Immobile elements essentially get locked in place and that is where they stay. Those that can be remobilized can leave their original location and move to areas of greater demand. Knowing which are mobile or immobile is helpful in diagnosing deficiency symptoms.

Since immobile elements do not easily move within the plant, when deficiency symptoms occur they show up in new growth (Photo 1). When mobile elements become limiting, they can be scavenged from older growth and moved to where they are most needed, causing deficiency symptoms in older growth (Photo 2).

Here's what all those black and white ashes are actually made of. Maybe they weren't flushed enough before being burned at 1112 degrees.

No attitude.
Humor: lol. I'm here because I fell in love with HydroRed. Half of the likes he gets are for that beautiful hair.

Serious: lol.
OK! Again, fair enough lol. Still want to leave but I will happily respond why I am on RIU lol.
I am on RIU mostly to improve my grow.
I have also found that I love helping new growers. Maybe more than most of the growers on the site. There are plenty like me. No one unless they are busting balls will say that is Bullshit. If it is bullshit, how long do you think it would take for one of the peeps on this site to call me out on that statement. 1 minute after I post, longer? When I say something incorrect the regulars spare no time to set me straight. I get no free pass and neither should you.
I got into a fight with you once before. Why? To save a grower from making a big mistake.
You said to a person to change the way they are feeding.
I said. Slow down we don't even know what his medium is.
You got pissed at me, started insulting me.
You said it did not matter whether he was in coco or ffof.
You insulted me some more.
Care to explain???

I don't just come on here for advice and comparison.
So if I starve my plant during flush, which means it's getting no food, correct.
Then why do my plants continue growing and swelling.
Your trying to say that buds go bigger as your not starving your plant, I asked someone on here that doesn't flush and the comparison of what the end result was,my yield was greater.
I suppose your going to put that down to different strains, environment etc.
On RIU people are saying they don't know who to trust and why would you, you don't know them.
So I will not trust you, I will trust my instinct thanks and that's got me what I need prior.
Calm down and get your head out your arse.do you mock everyone else that supposedly flush.

i mentioned up the feed as the plant to me look hungry ok.
Other people mentioned there opinion as well, someone mentioned mag dif as well but you didn't mock them did you.
You targeted me straight the way.
A large amount off difficiencies have a very similar sign with the leafs.
But then it's harder to diagnose as it looked like it had been there for a while which didn't help. ( the plant was covered. It just look in general that the leafs where dying through starving.
I've never experienced a ph problem before so this is why I thought it was something else.
I apologise for the attitude.
A lot of the first responses on forum are short like "it could be this or it could be that"
Then the well know members kick in.
Also I'm sure you where involved in this flush or not flush debate and you mocked me and others.
Why don't any of you understand my situation, understand that I'm only answering flush post as they are interested in flushing, so if they want to do it il give them advice.
I'm not TELLING them NOT to flush either.. Where as a lot are saying don't flush! What are you gaining from that? Etc..
I'm not being funny or anything but I don't thing that people who don't flush should be answering the posts.
See I've got krypobud on my case now about flushing, what is hes problem, just let it go, I flush and that's final.
I will never consider it until I experiment and see it with my own eyes.
That's where the frustration comes from,

Read the post. COMPARISON.
Do you know what that is.
And not just on YouTube.
I'm not interested in trying to be the best grower in the world pal, as this is a hobby and I enjoy my reward, my rewards are good, it does what it says on the tin, it smell wicked.
What more do I want. I also pull off more than recommended via the seed banks average yields per SQ M.
You will never change my mind.
