he’s asking if the exchange rate drifted between the time you first seen price and when you checked out and it had increased
Oh duh lol, we’ve been talking bout drivers so when I seen currency, I thought of drivers not money lol. It wasn’t too big of an increase so no biggie, it just sucked paying $100 for shipping lol

They were super cheap at Tnutz compared to everywhere else. Other places wanted $8-$10 each and I got em for $4.50 each and the came with spring clip, so couldn’t pass it up.
ya agreed. I love using tnutz, real good company , always quick to get your order shipped out

this time around I also went with the tnutz corners. Also not cheap, but I think they will make things a little cleaner

Was there a currency drift?
If you visit any of these sites (mouser, digikey, etc) frequently you'll see prices on drivers, for example, changing pretty frequently and seemingly randomly (to me/us). Currency, exchange, other stuff I'm sure too. If you needed say five drivers, watching the sites and comparing for a couple weeks could end up saving you $50+. Haha. It could end up costing you $50+ too I guess.
1020 not 2020

i used all 1010 for outside frame and 1020 for center beam.....sorry if i said 2020 ? mighta been a typo lol

Ill never use 1020 again either, way too big and heavy and simply put, overkill.

1010 or 1"x1" is plenty rigid and makes for a much lighter fixture.
I don't think you did, not sure now. But I thought 2020 was the small(er) go to size for this use. I thought it referred to 20mm by 20mm, which isn't even 1".
Like this: https://www.amazon.ca/European-Standard-Anodized-Aluminum-Extrusion/dp/B074DTKN2F/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3UC2L4F2ZDG6S&keywords=1010+extrusion&qid=1578176641&sprefix=1010+ext,aps,180&sr=8-1
Or similar listings, that call it 20 series.
Interesting. Thanks.
@2com I also ordered 10 series. Below is what I ordered. I didn’t order anything for center support tho. I’m basically building my lights based on how GreenGene built his in that video. That will wrk rite?

I "found" the 1010 extrusion, maybe I was on the wrong site before.
Anyway, can you gimme an idea of what the cost was to actually get some of that stuff to canada please? Was there duties on the parcel (it only shows shipping on the site). And what length pieces did you get (I'd think over a certain length would cause real high shipping, three or four feet maybe), that kinda thing?

Tnutz is a Canadian company so it should actually be cheaper for u than it was for me, but it still wasn’t much at all even for me. I only ordered pieces that were 20in and 46” heatsinks to make a fixture for 2’ x 4’. Pieces 3-4ft would be one big ass light lol.

Oh and it’s actually way cheaper ordering from Tnutz than it is from Amazon surprisingl. You figure I got 8pcs at 20” so 160” total for $36 and in your Amazon link, u get 4pcs at anout 15-1/2” which total is about 62” for $23

Tnutz isn’t Canadian , they are in New York if I recall correctly

I don’t remember what shipping cost or if there was duties. I’ll have to go through my email and find the bill.

You’re correct, it says New York. That’s weird cause in GreenGene’s video he says
” I ordered this from Tnutz, its a Canadian company “ so I just figured they were lol, my mistake
