Debit cards don't have the same consumer protections built in as credit cards do. You are better off using a credit card or a bank transfer if you don't want to use a money order. Bank transfers are reliable with reputable sites because at least you have proof that you paid for your seeds, they can't just go "oops, sorry guy your money order never arrived!"

You can't use a credit or debit card in the United States to purchase cannabis seeds from a US supplier. Just like you can't use your bank card at a legal dispensary.
