Yep. I have them both. I've only used the karanja though so far. I almost gave some neem to one of my pots the other day. I will next time I top dress the veg tent.

Neem for veg, and karanja for flower. But like I said I just started using it separately.

Craft Blend has karanja meal in it already though.
So, how do you know when to top dress? Once you see deficiencies, isn't it already to late? I just got my craft blend and ewc, but I also up potted, so I should be good for a while I'm guessing. Should I top dress when I start to see yellowing?

You want to top dress before it shows deficiencies of you can help it. I'm kinda lazy about it though and usually am a little late.

Some of the stuff in Craft Blend is available quickly and some takes longer to become available.

It's pretty forgiving so it's not real easy to overdo it.

Since I have kids and they take up more of my time I buy build a soils oly mountain 3.0 soil it’s great! I have used build a soil for a long time I am looking at their 4.0 just add water mix for my next grow . They are owned by a nice guy that is super knowledgeable as well.
I wasn't impressed with Oly Mnt V1, but Jeremy has been doing soil testing since then and focused more on micronutrients. It seems like the company has gone a long way since 2016.

Put a mulch, like barley straw on top of your soil and hit them with some cover crop seeds and you’ll really get some beneficials growing with your girls :)

I keep hearing so many mixed reviews about clover. Some people say it’s a breeding ground for bad bugs and And there’s other people like Jeremy @ build a soil that swears by it. Is build a soil‘s clover crop different?

Also, doesn’t clover shoot it’s seeds everywhere? Like on the walls of the tent and shit or is that some other cover crop I’m thing about?

I think those who have had troubles with molds or pests from cover crops/mulches are dealing with imbalanced soil. Generally in my experience a soil that is in one of the extremes or ph tend to be breeding grounds for the bad guys... that’s why Jeremy presses on the use of beneficial microbes as well as good watering practices etc... LABs will help. The only pest I’ve had issues with are fungus gnats and they are just annoying but that’s about it, I use canna control by mammoth which is a thyme/corn oil bases organic pest control. I hit the plants in veg maybe twice and hit the soil every few weeks to keep them at bay, but also don’t end up having to do it too often because once the soil becomes mature, I end up having predator mites who do the fungus gnat control for me.

keep your environment right and your RH and airflow in check and you won’t get mold, ever. My rooms never go over 50% RH the entire plants life, never had any issues.
