I think it looks ok, certainly better than what I did 20 years ago when people weren't so snobby about it..
But yeah doesn't taste good and you'll never be able to get all the butane out without expensive equipment, which is why I haven't played with it for a long time

With legalization it's not expensive at all. Doesn't cost any more than a rosin press.

I use rolling papers to clean the dish while its still warm.

Get some Oil Slick PTFE film and blast into it instead of directly into the dish. It will save you a lot of headache and you won't lose anything.

I've been using a closed colomn for a few years with some good results. Naturally I looked into what was the best value for me, been looking at a turnkey set up, for several reasons to recycle and collect the butaine naturally also for safety and a better end product.
Im hopefull that you guys can help me with the progression of my endeavours.
Here are a couple of pictures from some of my runs. All have been purged in vacuum chamber.
Thinking about running filter plate inline after valve before inline sight and collection pot. What size micron filter either paper or sintered is best...TIA.
