Breeding fem Autoflowers with reg Photoperiods for high Thc male Autoflowers?

I want to cross Gorrilla Cookies auto from Fast Buds with regular photoperiod, so I can get male plants.

Is there any method for crossing autoflowering types with photoperiod so there are some plants that are mostly autos, but with males and maintaining the high thc that the gorilla cookies auto have?

Any ideas? thanks a lot

Can't you find a regular not feminized auto strain to cross to your female auto so you don't have to deal with generations of uncertain flowering seeds? Or is the photo strain something you're interested in chucking with?

I cant find Non feminized autoflower seeds that have the potency of the Gorrila Cookies auto, thats why I was wondering on experimenting with potent photoperiodic strains

I just did a search of the three banks I order from regularly (seedsman, DC seed exchange. Seedsherenow) and found several regular autos being touted as 20 percent or higher THC. While I think these numbers are likely BS to sell seeds, so are the numbers on photoperiod seeds. The faster you get to seeds that flower how you want, the faster you can select for the high potency phenos.

Good luck regardless. Seedmaking is fun! Don't fall into the deep end!

Effects versus numbers… I’ll go with the effects every time. When adding a photo male, all you will be doing is taking away from your breeding program because of the addition of the hemp genetics.

Ask yourself, what happens when you breed 2 hemp carries together…. A lot of wasted time.

And don’t forget, that cookies cross is already chunk filled with hemp genetics. It’s also filled with the number 1 hemp carrier…. Aka blueberry. Despite your cause, you will be fighting a loosing battle.

That flat boring high isn’t worth what you are about to go through. So do yourself a favor and toss it. When you are staring at 160 day autos, you will be glad that you did.

Whats Hemp genetics? Hemp like the Cannabis variant?
Ok, another question, what are 160 day autos?
Thanks a lot, I think then that I will just self pollinate the seed like I was Planing? then getting another seed from a different strain of autos and Collodial silver the thing to get pollen and that way fight the inbreeding depression that self pollinating the same gorilla cookies auto seed would produce?

Maybe being a new grower ya just stick to a plant or two to see if you can complete a lifecycle first before playing around with any seed making. Learn the basics and then move up to bigger more complicated things. Breeding is not just throwing pollen around. It takes a lot of time and resources. So, do you want bud to consume or worthless seed?

The comments and questions you bring forward are typical of a new grower. Take some advice bro. Scrap this idea and learn the basics. As you progress in growing there is a ton of breeding information on the web.

what would happen if you took a tent with say 6 auto fem and spray this with silver and just let them cross pollinate. would they just be filled with random crosses or would they all end up producing the same seed

They would all be crosses of each other so different and variable but assuming your using only autos they would all be automatic strains still honestly if potency is your objective autos aint where its at photo period is and also op thc means nothing anyway alone its in combination with everything thats in it that makes the magic most companies lie about thc anyway the use labs that inflate numbers to make themselves look good as well

This came from a video I was watching. It looks like it will take a lot of breeding to get autos.
Aye it takes f4 or f5 to stabilise it its more work than most wanna do auto breedings harder than photos as you cant keep clones that are worth keeping as well id reccomend if your interested in breeding to make a few f1 crosses with photos then move on rather than start there

For anyone else, if you take your photo to auto then back to auto you cut all that out? It’s about increasing the xx chromosomes. It’s the same thing exotic and ethos does. You then search for the auto variants and breed them together. Even when you back cross to bring your photoperiods potency back in to play you still want what you call the F1 fast version. A lot of seeds to find that one though.

You would be making a f1 fast version first as only the first gen is "fast"then bx ing it to a auto your way that in theory makes it 75 %auto genes but you would need to hunt as the auto gene is recessive why do you think it takes most f4 or f5 to lock it in right to make a proper auto line

Nope I’ve done this 5x and it’s always auto. I have also ran (photo x auto) x auto) x auto) but the potency declines rapidly to where initial cross is needed. Then take that back to original the 3rd cross. This is my personal experience going on 14yrs growing, 8 breeding.
