ok..here are the updates, theres alot more side branching, especially on the first 3 plants..ive labeled them, and will show you in order from my favorite to least favorite.please post comments and any questions...well here goes:

1 This is my favorite plant so far, very branchy, compact, and lush growing..beautiful leaves, smells dank already!! This is the plant that has shown me the least problems, and due to the growth patterns,Im pretty sure its a female...

2 This is another of my better plants, nice big leaves, smells nice, and has the same growth patterns as my 1 plant,so Im guessing its also a female...notice the marks on the plants, please help me out with that also,,,

3 My 3 plant, also has nice dark green leaves, bushy, and the stem is leaning,so it look like a little bonsai tree...Im pretty sure its a female too..

4 this one has alot of burnt leaves, maybe its deficincies I dont know...rather leggy plant,so it might be a male too...

5 i got the plants mixed up..so bare with me,this is my 5 plant..and one of my least favorites..it has alot of nute bruns or defs on the leaves, very stretchy, and almost no side branching..I think this might be a male...

6 AKA THE RUNT..my smallest plant, its def the runt of the group...I topped it a few days ago to experiment, since Ill most likely cull it...

GROUP SHOT

please comment..also if anyone can help me on what nute deficiny they have..Ill appreciate it man..

It almost looks like you have some kind of pest. The light colored spots on #2 and #6 especially. If you have leaves that have a silver appearance and little black dots on dieing yellow leaves, that may be the problem. Often the problem is not one thing. pH, lockout, deficiency, burn, pests above and below surface of medium etc. I have recently had a problem with thrips so I am a little sensitive, but keep an eye out, especially since you have a couple of potted nursery plants in there that are likely to have hitchhikers.

i have seen small insect type creatures on the surface before..and some plants have a "weblike" thing on the bottom of the lowest leaves...what sort of pests live inside the medium?i dont see anything on the surface...also,can i clone the top?like if it top the plants, can i root the part that i cut off?

The web sounds like spider mites, very common. I have not had to deal with them....yet. They are very near, but so far have stayed on my hop bines outside.

Many insects larval stage is below the surface where they nibble on roots. Lady bugs will keep above ground small pests in check (not thrips) and predatory nematodes will take care of anything in the soil. Also Mosquito dunks (bacteria) will take care of some larvae like fungus gnats (very common) Unfortunately, If you already have a problem, Lady bugs are not the solution. If it is spider mites, neem oil maybe the answer, though others with experience should comment. You may have more than one pest. Try to look with some kind of magnifier to ID.

Side note:if your cat likes to drink out of things other than its bowl, and you happen to make bubble hash, do not leave bucket of green water uncovered allowing the cat to drink her fill...My daughter's cat seemed like she was on morphine, shallow breathing, seriously glassy eyes, and...well...catatonic. She has tried to through up (nothing there) and seems to be getting better, but EXTREMELY stoned. Cat is going to have some serious munchies:mrgreen:

lol at the cat note..i dont condone forcing drugs on animals..but my dog somtimes walks in when were blazing..and seems to like it..anyways,as for the pests..can i just ignore them without it harming things too much?also can i trim off the dead/spotted leaves off...or just leave them there and wait for them to fall off?

do you reccomnd i top them now,or wait a few weeks?

also, theyr are now around 3-4 weeks..are they VERY small for that size..or average?....i say theyr growing very slow....i really dont know how to speed them up..could it be the t5 thats making them grow slow..or the nutrients?i just fed with some monkey juice bloom right now...

also would it be wise to repot right now..or later on?

when i walk into my room you can def smell the "dank" lol..and theyr still small and vegging!!the one i topped is already growing the 2 new shoots...im thinking about topping all of them!!

one question:since im using tap water..and its more than likely very high starting ppm..the poh is 8.5 out the tap!obvoisly my tap water is bad for growing..but is it still safe to use it if the ppm is around 400-600 out the tap?

ppm, 123, abc, ou812, don'tmean shit to me. i check my ph when feeding or watering, and checkthe runout every 2 weeks or so, and always A+ 6.0 to 6.5 . i can't ask for anything better then that.

i understand ,im just so annyoed that my tap water sucks..and everytime i do some reading..i get mixed reviews..some people reccomend tap water since it has added minerals and ph buffers..but then some people think its the worst thing you can do to your plants cus of all the chlorines, and high ppm count...so just how bad is tap water to use on coco coir?even it is around 400-600 ppm?

i don't remember what the ph is on my water. if you ar going to just give them plain water then you want to use the ph up or down to 6.0 - 6.5 if in soil. when you go to feed your plants then mix up your nutes. and then ph at 6.0 - 6.5:bigjoint: you can't go wrong there.

right now..what i think is affecting my grow negatively is my garbage ass tap water..im pretty sure it has a very high ppm...and its making some nutes lockout....

I have never forced this cat to do anything besides stay out of the grow room. About the pests, no you can not ignore them.

They are a little behind probably, but they have had some trauma. I would not top until they have recovered, and that will include dealing with the pests. I would also go VERY light on the nutes. Do not try to give nutes in order to speed them up, they will suffer not benefit. Because you are in coco, you probably do need to feed a little. If you were in soil, I would say none for a while. As for repot or not: You can gently pop them out of the cup and see if it is full of roots or not. Some prefer to pot in a big container straight away, but if you get males it is a waste of medium. I also like to fill up the rooting area before moving up, but if you wait too long she will complain and slow until you listen.

As for your topping...you do not get 2 new shoots, you lose one. They were there before.

As for the ppm of your water. The important part is total ppm, after adding your nutes, supplements and the pH up or down (they are salts). How much is too much depends on the strain and their health as well as the soluability or availability of the nutes and stuff. During veg I think 750-1100 or so and maybe 1500 for flower...this is what I shoot for and it is probably low. I have only recently got the tds pen and don't really know shit about how much is too much beyond talking to dude at local shop and aiming low. That being said, there is no way I could use tap water with a ppm of more than 400, and my water turns the toilet nasty. If your nutes are acidic, it could work slightly in your favor as you may not have to add any pH down which adds to ppm's. You will also gget lots of other good minerals. But do YOU drink it? If not spend 25 cents and get a gallon of machine water. I grow my limit of 12 plants and only use about 6 gallons a week and one of it comes as free tea from the hydro store...gotta go before they close!

Mygirls dude has way more experience than me so maybe his water is nicer? And really I don't know shit...but I tried tap for all the good reasons there are, and mine is really bad. I sometimes add a little rather than use pH up if I am going heavier on my flower nutes (acidic) or if I add too much super plant tonic (Blue Mountain Organics).

i just finished folair feeding with a half-capful of maxicrop seaweed/water...i misted both my plants and the clones...

i am shwoing the closeup of the 2 new branches after topping,so noobs can know what to expect..
