The entire population of the planet could be put within the borders of Texas and there would be about the same amount of living space as that enjoyed by the citizens of Hong Kong.

We'd need all the rest of the US just to hold the sewage plant.

And btw the elite only gain from population growth. That is unless the decline is tied to war.

you obviously dont understand the point of the program the op is talking about. At current rates of increase by 2050 the planet will not be able to support the amount of people. Mainly due to water, which is due to current food production methods and so on and so on. If we all turn vegetarian we should manage for another 100 years at current rates of population increase.

On a similar note: If the Sahara dessert was covered in solar panels it would produce enough 'green' electricity for the whole world!

All of gardening is gonna go hydroponics. Think how much more efficiently you could use an anchor or land in with a 3 story wharehouse. Its gonna be insane once sea levels rise, and farming soils begin to run dry.

you should watch that program as that "elitist" talk doesnt call for culling infact it could be something just as simple as educating everbody. women in highly educated areas choose to have children much later in life when their counter part would have had 4 children already..

perhaps if you started looking at things alot more carefully then you'd realise that not everything is a conspiricy...
