I knew a few females that grew when I lived in Sactown that grew and grew well. My wife grows along side me and is learning everything I can teach her. I think she secretly has fallen in love with growing but wont openly admit it yet haha.

If for some reason, they don't make it -don't be too hard on yourself. Clones are a lot harder to care for, while rooting, than any other MJ plant. If you had seedlings going, in your current conditions, they would be thriving for you. It is nice to see another female grower, btw. Not many of us here, compared to the menfolk.
Haha, yeah I've only noticed maybe a handfull of females compared to TONS of males! Go us ;)
And these ones were seeds, not sure what the person who started them did, or how they went about things... To be honest I've never seen them grow that way!!! But I just figured it was my lack of knowledge... They were literally just seeds, with the plant growing up & out of the gel. No roots. I wish I had pics to show of it!
Now they've got roots, I can tell, But nowhere near what they should be, obviously!
They're looking a little more perky this morning. Not sure if it's the light, raise in humidity, the extra water, or the combo. But, as for now I'll just keep up what I've started!
I'll post some new pics in a few days to show progress!!

Haha that's awesome! My situation is a little reversed... I'm the grower, & the boyfriend just watches along side me! ;)

If you go through my grow journal and check out the pictures you can see her reflection in some of the mylar from time to time haha I love growing and have grown for 5-6 years give or take and absolutely love it. For every grow I have ever done I learned more. When I was trying to hide it from my mother and her husband I really didn't have resources to pull for info on how to grow except shit I heard on the streets from people who know nothing about growing (I learned fast don't trust everything you hear about growing) I took advice about a lot of things so when people ask questions about experiments with lights or nutes or soil or whatever I have tried a lot lol My first 3 plants didn't do so well I got maybe 2 bowls off each and full of seeds (knew nothing about growing or males haha) I started the saying "The more you know The more you grow" back when I made some very nice harvests and am still improving now lol I know there is still a lot I don't know like certain nutrients and supplements, aeroponics (I have never tried), ebb and flo (never tried), drip table (never tried), and even my DWC totes I am running now I am still learning how to run them properly. Before I got the chance to do research and grow openly I have improved so much and can't wait to grow for many more years to learn as much as I possibly can. I am having troubles cloning and now I just built my cloner and will have it done Tuesday and still have no idea how to use it but I will learn and dial it in.

Yeah, I really thought I had most things down pat.. HAHAHAHA Yeah, that was a joke!! I mean, I think I'd be having an easier time if I had started with my own seeds. But being Dr Mommy is a little harder lol!! I still don't know a lot of the terminology. I just know that crazy lookin thing does that, & that over there does this. Every time I see/hear a new word or product, I look it up. But there are so many new things they sorta get all scrambled up, lol.
I think I'm going to try out the whole bucked hydroponics thing with my seeds. I've got the whole system designed. It's pretty identical to most other ones I've seen. So should be good! I'm probably just going to do 2 or 3 at a time. I figure going slower & being able to do it all properly is better than doing a ton at once. Plus that way if I mess up, I only lose 1-2-maybe 3... Vs doing a bunch & losing a bunch.
Some of my seeds, like I said earlier, are just from some shib I bought a while ago, I did test germinate 2 & they are good, man those suckers had some roots! Gave them away tho, since I didn't have anywhere to put them.
But the ones I bought are KC 36... Know anything about them!?

Na I mostly specialized in the White strains. White Widow, Russian, Rhino, C99, and am wanting to try this new 1 called Crystal. It's new to me because I haven't really had the opportunity to just browse MJ seeds due to the parents. I know more about growing the plant than a lot of the heritage of the plants themselves. I am still learning and haven't stopped learning as much as I can about them. I have recently had the chance to experiment with a bunch of different techniques of cloning and germinating. Check out the threads in my sig and you will see I still had some trial and error. At first I was hesitant to post anything online about my grow but now I'm legal and don't care lol I can't wait til Tue so I can start using my cloner lol Hella excited about that.

You sound quite inspired deary! I wish I had the space, time & resources to try something like your hopefully-next grow! Maybe in due time!
I've read & heard a lot about Crystal... Pretty freakin amazing from what I've heard! I would also love to invest in more higher end seeds & all... But in my location, people just don't appreciate that crap. See, I've grown up being quite proud that I've never touched any form of illegal substance my entire life. My best friend of 15yrs couldn't even get my to try weed!!! But then some how my bf managed to convince me to just try it in Jan '09. First few times were worthless, & I saw no point. But I figured there HAD to be SOMETHING to it, or people wouldn't keep doing it! Right? Finally after a few random tries, around August/Sept I got the hang of it & fell in love :) & Now here I am tryin to grow the shit! Point is, most people I know around here have been doin this for YEARS. They don't really care what they smoke. As long as it burns, it's good, pretty much. I hope to start a new revolution in how & what people smoke around this podunk town!!
So after much research (& lack of major funding), I decided to go with KC 36. Has fabulous ratings, TONS better than the crap around here. & From the info provided on it should do quite well in this cool-ish environment.

The funding has become an issue for me as well as I am suffering financial problems in the family right now, but plan to have that off the ground asap. As far as the smoke in your area where about are you from if you don't mind me asking. Not a cop so don't worry haha

Haha.. saying you're not a cop, makes it seem as if you are :-?

Wisconsin... & it's not like people don't smoke here... Just about everyone I know does!! From the Northwoods, Wausau, Eau Claire, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, to Green Bay.... From H.S. Kids right on up thru some grandparents I know that do!!! haha
They just don't care what they smoke. Which to me is pretty sad..

I feel the same way there and as far as the cop thing goes I really ain't haha I hate cops and used to get the shit beat outta me by them back in Sactown. Cali (from what I understand) has the best weed and I just so happen to be here so I guess I would know about OUR bud but don't really know what everywhere else has. I know New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts has crappy dirt weed from the last time I was out there visiting family. I brought some and they wouldn't stop talking about it for about a year lol I think that everyone who smokes and grows should visit Cali and Holland, Turkey, and a few other places to get a chance at some of the better bud. I seriously am going to visit everywhere weed is legally grown. You know they do their research and some bored ass grower is sitting around with a lot of space and experimenting on everything under the sun lol

HAHA right!! Yeah I'd love to travel, however that won't be happening in my near future! Too much craziness goin on these days! I did know someone that was just out in Cali tho working with a boxer... Sucked for him tho, his boxer got knocked out right away in the first round!... Should have had my friend hook me up while he was out there! lol!!
Just out of PURE curiosity, approx how much is stuff out there?? Probably *way* more expensive than here, haha!

Typically it's 20 a dime, 50 a 1/8th, 90 a QZ, 150 half oz, 200-350 full zip, 700-900 QP, and about 2600-6000 a lb.

Gotcha Gotcha.. Same here usually.. Except dry season=Late winter-Spring (NOW!!!)... Usually here purchases are Eighths. Normal $50 an 1/8. If it's any sort of import, as in stuff from Cali, or if it's dry season about $60. Schwag, which goes surprisingly fast, is $40.
Haha.. I think it's so funny, a few months ago, I knew NOTHING about this crap, just smoked it! Now I'm... Well, a Mini Ms Botwin :)

Ya know, I love that show, and can't wait for the new season to start - but I gotta say - Nancy Botwin has got to be, one of the dumbest women on the planet. She fucks up, repeatedly, and doesn't even seem to realize...Kinda goes around like a deer caught in headlights. lol

I *LOVE* that show too!!! My theory on starting: If Nancy can do it *I* can do it!! lol... I watched all however many seasons in about 3 weeks!! lol I seriously didn't watch ANYthing else! When we got done, we were amazed at what we missed in the real world ;)

Ok.. So back to business..

I've got more lighting in there, raised the humidity a little, and I've been misting 2 times a day.
They initially perked up with the lights, but now they're looking pretty droopy.
I haven't checked the pH, I can't find my freakin kit.-probably have to go buy one later.
I took a few pics this morning, but my computer is too dumb & not uploading them... Hopefully I can get them up soon!!

Anyway... Any ideas??

They're looking a little better.. Had to take them out of the Jiffy Pot & put them into real pots. Kept the root ball, then used 1/2 the same soil combo I originally used mixed with 1/2 the soil mix I use for gardening. They're in their forever home now & they seem much happier!
I added another hour to the lighting. When I move this weekend, I will add 2-3 more lights, I think they could use it!
I did the misting couple times a day for a few days & they seemed to like that, then suddenly didn't. So I switched to watering once a day, much better!
They've grown a little over an inch in the last week. Which is great for them!!
I'm not sure exactly when I'll start doing nutes. The soil they're in now is barely fertilized.. So I'm tempted to start now/soon, however I don't want to overdue anything!!

There's still some curling uner & yellowing of the bottom leaves.. But I'm not overly concerned about that since it is starting to get better!
I am however still concerned about how thin the leaves are.. I've never seen plants this size with fan leaves this thin!

Any tips, suggestions, advice?!?

It looks to me like it may be a heavy sativa... If that is the case you may want to get your watering under control and watch how fast she grows. I would also suggest if you are going to add nutes I would only feed nutes 2x a week MAX. I think they have gotten less droopy which sounds to me like roots are getting established. Let that soil dry out some before watering or they will get root wrought and the plant will get droopy for it's last time...

The original owner finally told me what they were last night.. However I don't remember, & the munchkin I'm watching today took my phone captive!
Watering I do believe is as controlled as it can be for now.. I can't give them more, less often because they don't like it & less, more often they don't like either. So I'm staying where I'm at with that. I'm guessing the move & change of atmosphere-air, humidity, & more lights will probably change things up. So when all that change happens, I'll see where things are at & go from there! Poor Plants! Man I picked a crappy time to move :/ haha
I did decide to hold off on nutes for a while too, these babies need to get the hang of things before I throw more stuff at them! Plus I figure additional lights should help enough for a now!
Anyway, those are some pics I took yesterday. The tiny pin points at the top have grown out a little since then, so YAY! for continual new growth :)
Btw, I'm a total dork & named my babies... The little one is Josie, & the bigger one is Delilah...
