Do you believe there is a god? Multiple gods? Who is to say what is and isn't real?
Life is full of unanswered questions but no one with the knowledge to clarify.
Growing up I was a Jehovah's witness, why? Not because i chose to but because my moms parents were and so she was and so, I was. I am currently 18 no longer interested in the story we call god.
Religion, an excuse to "Think" that we know what happened in ancient times. An excuse to be good people because supposedly god wishes so (or else we are damned to an eternal fire). Perhaps we need a godly figure so that humanity doesn't go insane, perhaps there is a god, maybe even living amongst us. But how can one trust a book that contradicts many other "Books" that all claim they are the truth? These bibles have been around for years, wouldn't you think that the literature was revisited or altered during time? I mean wouldn't some religions also be altered due to a state law? Don't quote me as i may be wrong.
Extremely religious people are extremely afraid as well, that is my philosophy.

To answer the topic. I don't think extremely religious people are extremely afraid. I think they are extremely religious. You can't judge someone by their religious views. Maybe they think you're afraid by your lack of religion?

I personally am not a super religious person. Not to say that religion is bad. I think religion is great. I think the followers of whichever religion give it a bad name. That's not religions fault people choose to use it as a crutch to kill. People are the problem, not the religion.

People are always the problem. This earth would be perfect, peaceful and work in harmony if it weren't for human beings. We are the Achilles heal of this planet.

I don't believe that god exists as an all powerful all knowing entity, but I believe "god" technically exists as the universal constants that ultimately control what we as humans in this universe can and cannot do. so basically god would be the laws of physics or nature as well call it.

WHAT the hell gives religious people the right to judge ANYONE! im 40 years old and all my life i have listened to these people judge, put down, ridicule, and damn others. I have been told by them that i will go to hell for not beleiving in there so called GOD. let me just say this, If GOD is the creator of all things good and evil, then that makes GOD the evilest being in all the universe because he created it! why the hell would i follow that? I have read most of the bible and find it to be fiction in every way. FACT is that there are hundreds of chapters and parts of the bible that have been left out because they contain information that THEY (whoever THEY are) dont want us to know. the truth is out there somwhere and im sure we all will know at some time. to think that we are the only intelligent beings in this vast universe is absurd. you beleive what you want and I will do the same but dont call me wrong for not beleiving as I dont do this to you. im sure that when you do call me wrong you can go ask for forgiveness and all will be just fine (again) just like all the other times you put somone down and ask for forgivness (AGAIN) and again and again. I guess it's ok for beleivers to do wrong and get away with it because (GOD) will forgive you, but for how long?
