It has been quite in here for a couple of days. I will probably have to pull my male in a week or two. I need to make sure my next few girls are seedless. He has been putting in work, I can see a few hairs on my females browning and withering where they have been pollinated. I have also cut a branch or two off of him for a friend to take home and dust his ladies with. His life may end up being short but his legacy will last longer that a great buzz.

That’s a wonderful looking plant Teflon; I could do with some pollen my self, as I'm tired buying seeds, it gets expensive, but on the other hand I lack space, so probably going to have to wait till summer and have an outside male or two.

Bit of an update:

Changed the reservoir on Thursday night for flowering nutrients, now pre flowers are showing, the growth has slowed a bit since due to the change over, however it didn’t help me adding 5ml silicon by accident thinking it was liquid oxygen! ph shot up to 8.0, so had to add more ph down, E.c is now at 0.9 which is a little high considering her size but she’s looks to be ok for now.

I do feel however Lst does impend growth as the leafs have a hard time adjusting to the light and the main grow tip not getting all the light, but the branches have gone mad and also started branching again! Roots have come on a long way too, all nice and white with just a tad of slime here and there. I’m very pleased so far, this DWC is really easy and straight forward so far, touch wood

Again I’ve had to have a bit of a move around, So she's ended up back in the smaller grow cabinet under a 250W hps, as I had put the two large females in to flower before they get to big

Another week or so and I’ll be able to tell if it’s AK47 or not, looks nothing like my Grass-O-Matic AK which was the dogs bollocks at 3.5 oz dry! So I got some more waiting as well as a pack of Maxi GOM, I’m so excited I just had to plant one lol

Here are some pictures

Barbie, I agree! ONE UGLY POOCH! Think I'll stay with the present avatar -S.
The re-vegging that you're doing is interesting too. I am going to try that with a couple of photoperiods later to be transfered out side later in the season. It'll be new ground for me as I've not tried that yet.

Well I had to go ahead and pull the male this morning. I want seeds but not every single calyx pollinated. The last pic I posted of him is the last one I took. I will chime in with a seed count when the girls are cut. That will be a good measure of his life and contribution to the world.

OK, the time has come for this evil genius to unveil his master plan. As you saw in my previous update, I am using low stress training on #2. My plan is to continue training her so that she forms an upward spiral. This will allow her side branches to catch up to the main cola. My theory is that it will be much easier to pollinate all of her bud sites if they are all easier to get to. She is off to a great start, and I am going to continue making her follow the perimiter of her pot. This might have worked a little better if I used the 5" pot instead of the 3.75".
Unlike the Dummy, I want this plant to have maximum seed count, and will be pollinating her by hand frequently. The male (pictured behid her in the group shot) will be removed after some sacks have popped and I have collected a little pollen from the ones that are ready to. I am hoping to minimize seeds in the other 2 girls, but a few from them might be good it they turn out to have better smoke than #2.

Teflon -
From being seed to makin seed in like 31 to 32 days? THAT was fast!

Oh, and are you officially declairing your entry as "Finished"?
If you are we would probably like to see the off spring in seed too?
In which case you may or may not be finished. Totally your call.
My way of thinking is to show seed could be as much a part as someone else's drying for a measure. Not that it should matter in the voting at all (maybe / maybe not), but it might be a nice follow-up.

By-the-way, Your early finish kind of put me on the spot with the Reefer-ee Surprise I had planned tonight. I've got to re-consider if I want to go ahead or not. I'm concerned it may put you at a disadvantage. I've got to think about this.

Reefer-ee Memo

Surprise #2;

This is not a rule,, just a request.
As I think was mentioned early on, my intentions are to have a seperate pole for voting.
I would like for all of you to consider a single photo to represent you and your grow to be sent to me in a "PM" so that I may include them all in one link when I do the pole. NOT NOW! (LOL) Later when you're near finished or a couple days before the competition closes.
You are not required to submit as a rule. But I will grab one that seems good to me if you don't.
This is to help rattle your creative juices a bit.
The photo should be your campagne platform for getting voted as top contender. The photo may be all that the voter sees for basing their favorite. Up to you to shine with one photo, or make them interested enough to go looking for your series of postings. As stated earlier, "Make people want to vote for you and your plant." No movies. No words. Just 1 picture to my mailbox by PMs.
I hope this catches most of you early enough to make plans to best utilize this vote gathering incentive.
Remember though, your plant NEEDS to be recognizable as being the contestant entered. And please don't go too vulgar. Also, the photo must be of one used in your updates on this thread.
Sorry Teflon, I never expected a 4 week finish to even be possible.

Before someone decides to go nuts with Photo Shop, often times, less is more. This is not a photo contest. It's entirely about what you have done with your plant. Have some fun with it.

Examples of what I've in mind -
If your plant comes out looking like a ash tray you may want to include a roach in the branches, sitting on a table in a country setting sort of thing. (dumb example I know - LOL)

Good luck and enjoy.
Reefer-ee

PS;
I have been and will try to continue keeping tabs on the post numbers of updates that pertain to each individual contestant. My intent is to include them as a caption of sorts with each of your individual picture submitted. I hope that will make it easier and more likely for voters to actually go back and see a contestant's grow while helping to eliminate some clutter for those looking.

Point of interest - We have at present 137 post on this thread and 2669 "views." Could be a few potential voters watching. ;-)

Well this has really started to get interesting, so much going on! Canon I believe you've got everyone thinking out side the box this time, I'm really looking forward to see these plants grow into "Works of art" however my entry has done everything but what I wanted! I snapped the head off today 3 nodes from the top when trying to tie her down Bollocks! Her "head" was left hanging by a few fibres till I could get some masking tape, which was the only thing I had at hand, should of took a pictures but it wasn’t the time for fannying a round. But-moreover if she heals, maybe I could benefit? Can’t remember the name of the technique were you bend or snap a branch, is it some thing like high stress break?

I’ll get a picture later of her sling.
