Here's my prob ...
I recently put some germ'd seeds into Foxfarm PS with plain water ... the seeds get up out of the dirt but cannot stand upright .. they have weak rooting and my trainwreck i looked at last night and it was curved downward but barely longer than the seed itself after this long it should be reaching and should have split open.? It looks thin and weak and possibly over moistened ? I have no idea whats causing this but Im thuinking it's either Im intially not watering enough so the medium is drying out too quickly, especially with the airy potters , and then i am trying to keep them moist when there too dry to begin with ... Or i am basically watering each day 1-4x or "misting", causing it to be overwatered , in hence saturating the main stem, killing my seeds ??
I used these potter type things, and no,I dont really care what they are called, but I used these instead of cups thinking I would have good results..
watered once when planted , plain 7.0 distilled water , then i let them sit until the top soil appered to be dry enough to crumble up then continue to mist until almost wet, and sometimes they look wet, maybe i overdue it...
It seems to take around 6-10hrs depending on humidity which can go between 30-55% .. I was using a humidity dome thinking that humidity retains moisture , but a recent post made me aware that I shouldnt be using one , even though with my current 1st grow, I put my exodus cheese which was struggling from stress around 2weeks and it shot up fast in the dome overnight, alot of stretch, but was already upright...
This is also happening to my big bang and my grapefruit diesel ...
Any questions ask ... Thanks
