Swear by Ital Hemp Wick? Better Check Out Beelasso First...

Have you ever tried humboldt-traders? They send out free samples. I have tried at least ten different companies and I settled on this one.

already tried their sample... they are very similar in quality to beelasso, BUT they use too much beeswax imo. I could taste it more than I could with beelasso.

humbolt wick is my favorite. Its always so fresh, they have the best price and no gimmics. if you email them they will send you a free sample. they are also the only hemp wick company that has a good selection of dispensers for the hemp wick. when I went to humbolt last harvest, everyone was using it and I thought they were so stoned that they were smoking with rope! but i tried it and I can reallly taste the difference

lol are you advertising or something? I already got a free sample from them, they use a lil bit too much wax and it slightly effects the taste.

Took a boulder to my local coffeeshop, the GREY AREA (only American owned shop in Amsterdam fyi). Concensus was a big thumbs up on the Beelasso. Excellent quality and some comments on how it was better made and nicer than other wicks previously used (unfortunately no exact names were given for a comparison though). We didn't have anything to compare it with at the time but as far as a product is concerned, it certainly got approval over here.

Peace, DST

hell yeah man that's great shit to hear I'll forward this to the beelasso guy I've been exchanging emails with.

Nice man, all i'm using right now is BEELine and it's pretty covered in wax, and to beat that they have a pitch black roll that's even THICKER at the clinic so I don't even know about that shit haha.

I wanna try that stuff you're using because in my opinon the BeeLine always leaves an unwanted taste that I think may be from too much wax but it might just be me so you never know.

This is my roll, it's winding down from it's original glory....

Edit: you know those things were people will take a picture everyday for like a year or two and then you can watch it in 20 seconds? we should try that with hempwick, even though a roll only lasts months, but i think it would look funny just watching it disappear

OK, my first experience with the wick was pleasurable indeed. I don't think I have coughed all afternoon.. I've just spent a couple of hours with my girlfriend smoking and watching youtube vids.. She says the beelasso is, "very nice".
I think it is very nice, as well. I like it better than bic lighters for sure.

Ok, I was beginning to think that Poplars had some sort of mental deficiency for talking about this wick shit so much...

After steady smoking all day and night yesterday my girlfriend (with asthma) and I have not used a lighter yet.. I only coughed one time and that was because I lit up an already roasted bowl because I was high and didn't look.

there is very little smell to the lasso itself (unburned), although there is a wax smell which is natural.. When burning, the wick might transfer a touch of flavor if you smear the wick on the cannabis as you smoke it. It is very minimal in that case and the flavor of the cannabis is more noticeable. I have very sensitive taste and smell which is usually a problem for me because everything nasty or fake makes me nauseous. This wax passes my critical sensitive picky test...

I think I have gone through 6 feet already.. hmm... anyway, thatnks Poplars for this heads up..

BITCHEN.

the beeswax looks dank, make sure you get some high high grade hemp, that hemp looks good but idk if it's the highest grade or not... I say for hemp wick you need the highest grade you can buy.

This hemp is all natural without any shit on it. The wax is DEF the bomb. It is from an old neighborhood I lived in 10 years ago...
The wick I made works great, but I ordered some different hemp from another place that will be dank...

If the hemp in the pic is fine, then the hemp I have coming will be awesome..

yeah just make sure man there are grades of hemp even organic hemp has grades... high grade organic is much different from medium or low grade organic.

Hello again..
So I couldn't wait for my beelasso and got the local wax and stuff...
The wicks I make burn 2X longer than beelasso?!?

I have so far tried one type of natural hemp without chemicals. I have orders for other types of hemp coming in today or next week...

So I prefer the home made ones to the beelasso so far.. and that is with a twine that I believe may not be the optimal twine..

More to come.....

Looks like I may be in the hemp wick business soon...

samples available upon request.. I will need unbiased testers.

I"m betting I'd prefer the taste of beelasso, but if you want to ralley testers you're gonna have to start your own thread.

Hmm, OK.

I'm not rallying anyone right now, so it's all good.
They say that necessity is the mother of invention. That was the case this week when I ran out of Bee Lasso, which by the way is the best product I've encountered all year.
As for taste, that is something you'd have to experience to make the judgement call.
Things to consider when comparing wicks: taste, burn time, hemp:wax ratio, purity of hemp, purity of beeswax.

The commercial beeswax that I've encountered has lots of wings and bits.. so I stay away from that.

I've started keeping my Bee Lasso boulders in ziplock baggies so that my dogs don't drag them onto the floor.. turns out that wax is sticky... No one wants dog hair hits...

ps- I re-read what I wrote before.. I suppose I did invite testing.. I supposed I'd need to actually have the materials (new hemp) before I offer anything... that was my pre-adderall impulsivity.. NO SAMPLES for anyone
