Wow I have NEVER had this issue before but it looks like I am going to have to give plants AWAY because of no room in my flower. This is partly because of my new lights (2) 600w and using dynagro for all complete cycles. They are just pumping up so big and fast I can't keep up, jesus I have problems but THIS PROBLEM!!

The vegging is so much faster!
The flowers are bigger, faster and healthier.
I mean my Agent Orange and Super Lemon Hazes are BEASTS!! ITS SICK!!! I have to show pics these two alone are taking up the whole 600w foot print. They are sucking gallons a day.. I am scared they wont stop its just day 24!! I hate to start bending em down!

Ill get pics hopefully tonight when I get back.

Can't wait to see them. I just got my Dyna-Gro in the other day. I'm almost done with the ones I have going now so I won't start using the Dyna-Gro until next grow. It's insane how they blew up like that.

Here they are kinda funky to get a good pic with my android.. but the corner they are in is about 5'x'5 and 2 plants take entire area and could use a bit more. The are about 5' tall now I usually keep em at 3-4 feet max! THIS IS FKN DAY 25!!! LOL man Advanced PH perfect was well into 30+ days to see this results if I did AT ALL! Crazy. Oh and the buds are like apple size I have never had that before neither buds starting so big and abundant.. its nuts. errr nutes ;)

Oh and this pics is after a pretty healthy defoliation *GASP* what you say? Defoliate? Yup.. about 20 days in I knock off the main fan leafs and usually keep ones directly related to bud sites only. Now this is against the majority census but it works for ME.

Peace.

I want to note that these plants are growing quicker and healthier then I have had in the pasts and I tried something new, I will explain.

I used to plant everything in 3.5 gallon buckets in flower but I noticed my plants that are typically about 3-4 feet in height only have root balls about 1/4 of the size needed. It worked and well, but I always wondered what if I did smaller buckets. This time I kept 4 plants in their 2 gallon buckets instead of transplanting. They will deplete the water in 2 days in the bucket if you can not replace on a daily basis, but this is almost like an ebb/dwc/aero something hybrid. Not only that but the air pump and bubbles is crazy in the middle of the root mass, so O2 is never an issue at any stage and if it is, then the plant will deplete fast enough to allow roots to breathe. Allowing for some faults if power or something happens. The plant starts out as dwc, as it drinks water it turns in to an aero with mist, then almost empty its an ebb allowing roots alot of oxygen and fresh nutes pretty much as it drinks. I will take a pic of the roots, they are crazy healthy. If they get too big I can always just move to 3.5 gallon.

Only issue if plants root ball is too big to move the lid over to add water, if so I need to add a small hole for water and readings. I am seeing potential issues and trying to apply some type of alternative path if need be. We will see. The plants are just growing super charged, it's insane from my straight dwc with ample water available (bigger bucket then needed).

Anyways I am just rambling... pics later when lights come on.

Right on! i am getting the same effect. 3 plants in 10 gallon totes. they have aero looking roots up top then a nice solid root ball as well.
as far as the protekt goes What trace nutrients does it contain besides the silica.

I am not into all that technical shit, you know I just go by what works and what doesn't. I tried to run without it thinking it was no big deal, and it was so noticeable I will never run without it ever. Even if I do not even use DynaGro line, but I don't see neither happening. Note: others make a similar product and I have used rhino skin and Silicablast both with good results too.

I been at this 5 years and I have spent thousand$ on peoples word, companies claims, and so on. DynaGro not only did EVERYTHING without even a whisper of a claim to me, nor did I hear many claiming its praises until Homebrewer. I tried it, and it blew me away so much I don't even think about looking for another nute right now, SHIT I CANT KEEP UP WITH THIS ONE!! HAHAHA. Five years ago you told me I would say that, I would have thought you were nuts.

I am NO PRO or EXPERT I only go off data MYSELF observe, sure it may start from someones thread or recommendation but I don't blindly follow anything or anyone. This stuff is the real deal, real inexpensive, real simple, real clean... what more then I can ask for except for it to trim, cure and roll my joints for me. Maybe someday! LOL.

Getting up a bit higher with the Sugar Black Rose... mmm some reviews said it was "meh" but let me tell you its a GOOD VERY GOOD producer, stout short and think stems and flowers. Smoke is smooth, kind of piney yet menthol somewhat.. different then I have had (that is good). Very easy to grow and finishes in about 54 days (I like mine milky with bit of amber). High right now at about 8 days dry and cure time (early) is uppy, head pressure a bit, hangs around for while with impact pretty quick after couple good bong rips.

Curing note as well: I used to dry until about a relative humidity(RH) to 58 or so, which I thought was good which it is, BUT it robs of a lot of potency, taste and smell. I now stop drying and cure now at about 65% RH, with the checking, opening to smoke/test, smell etc.. the higher moisture lets curing to smell, get more potent and taste soo much better. 55-58% is too dry, if you want the best possible product. I am thinking I am going to slow down a bit now when I hit 70% in jars to even slow it more. Just keep an eye on them until about 65% then you can let them sit for days to burp and get amazing smells, taste then I had at lower RH.

Here are links to Homebrewer's threads. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/429438-dyna-gro-vs-advanced-nutrients.html and https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/358562-dyna-gro-vs-general-hydroponics.html. I can't wait to use the Dyna-Gro, just finishing up my autos and then my new one is about a week or so from getting started. I love the pics and can't wait to see how some of the others turn out.

Thanks I owe this all to HomeBrewer and I thanked him personaly in a pm before I even started this thread, so thanks for proper links to pay him respect for his good work here on RIU.

+ back friend.. always here for the people who are respectful and have common sense. I don't agree with everyone and WILL voice my opinion but I am one to say "sorry" "I was wrong" etc.. or hopefully steer people away from my mistakes.

i use the sensi series atm lol
They were 'ok' bit tempermental for my DWC setup, seemed like I was always missing something that it lacked with the plants, now Dyna gives them everything they need. It's funny since dynagro my plants are now starting to look like the high times mag shots we always dream about, usually they have something wrong I have to live with or don't expect to be. I like that, I am no professional gardener I want my nute to take some of the work out of it, and I can just follow directions.

I have some Super Lemon Haze drying now I CAN'T wait to taste, as I ran with AN the first run and didn't clone. This time with Dyna it smells better, looks frostier and has better buds then before for sure. I love the lemon after taste and so does a few others that can't wait for me to roll some up. I know I just sound like a Dynagro commercial but I am not afraid to tell you how much happier I am with this line then ANY other brand I have used over the years. Price alone is phenomenal, but results and ease like this.. BINK! Oh.. in hempy 100% perlite Dyna works just as well I am seeing, just DWC is bigger plants for sure so far.

Off to get shiat done!
