I must have jumped up 3 times out of deep sleep last night, all I knew is that the lights didnt come on this morning! Oh! but wait, I changed the schudule. HAHA its all good. Yea lights were out for 12 hours last night. I still couldnt beleive how much new growth I saw in the morning.

Did I mention my new toy? $16 bucks on ebay.

I have been able to calculate the cost of running the garden. Before I changed the light schedule It was costing roughly 50 cents a day in electricity.

I also wanted to mention that my water usage has increased to almost 2 gallons of water every day. I filled the 14 gallon reservorir less than a week ago with nutes and its almost out. I only use RO water from a filter.

What were you feeding them when they were in the daisy cloner?

$.50 seems really low. What's it say when it's set to KWH?

First one shows how many KWH I have used. (7.42KHW used in 18hours 17 mins)

Second shows the time it took to use those KHW. The cost of power in my area is less than .07 per KWH

Sweet grow man,

I know you like the Homebox tents but how are they with odor?
Thanks for your encouraging words!

The Homebox is fine with the smell (plants are still very young in that tent), all tents will need a carbon filter if you want to eliminate the oders. You should not skimp on that part. Its crucial in keeping low key in your grow.

The daisy cloner gets 1/4 to 1/2 strength nutes, with some Hydrogurad (prevents fungi) and I top it off with some of Olivia's Cloning Solution diluted down per intructions.

PPM around 600 or less, PH 5.6-5.8
Temp 80 degrees
Change the reservoir in the Daisy Cloner every 10 days or so.

Thanks. I'll prob wind up PMing you with another question down the road. I'm really looking foward to picking up my cloner in a couple of weeks.

I have decided to flip the switch so to say, I'm going into turbo flowering mode!!! I have taken my clones in a veg state, and I'm going to assume they are all going to survive. That being said I don't want to wait any longer to see what I have got (boys or girls). So with a drum roll please.......

Here is my new light schedule: (military time)

Sunday On 1:12 - Sunday Off 22:48
Monday On 10:48 - Tuesday Off 8:24
Tuesday On 20:24 - Wednesday Off 18:00
Thursday On 6:00 - Friday Off 3:36
Friday On 15:36 - Saturday Off 13:12

That equates to 9:36 (On) /12 (off) or 21:36 in a full cycle. It should speed things up. I will have more light than the sun can offer. Every week Is the equivalent to 8.25 days on my light schedule. So in 6 weeks I will gain an extra week. What do you guys think? Yes, I know change is difficult and makes us all uncomfortable. But I'm leaving my comfort zone and trying out a cool idea.
You didn't just change the light schedule, you switched to a 3000K bulb right?

Are these guys in that 23.5" homebox?

Nope there in the HTG 20" long x 36" width x 64 height" tent, the HomeBox I have is too small for an HPS light.

I knew there was something I meant to do before the lights turned on today. Thanks, I will do it in an hour or so, I think the lights will be out then. I have been using a MH conversion bulb, but I have an HPS for the job.

I thought it was odd that there wasn't even a slight red tint to the light in that tent.

What are you using the homebox for? Is that where the cloner is?

Nope I have the cloner sitting ontop of the reservoir in the closet with the two HTG tents

Finally got my second Odorsok in today. Now both HTG tents have one on their intakes.

I was able to recover a single (edited: Sweet Tooth) seedling out of the 4 that were in there last week, the others were toast. This one must have missed being sprayed with water somehow? IT looks so lonely in there, and now I have two light schedules going on. This tent is going to remain in Veg mode. This is going to cause some planning but I put shut off valves on every section of the plumbing system. I dont want to have my blooming plants and vegging plants on the same reservoir. I have some ideas on how to deal with that.

This is the before pic

This is what I have brewing in the HomeBox under a 200W cfl

I had to put the lone survivor back into the big tent under a 400w MH light. I needed the room for new seedlings. I have another project in the works. A dark room DR80 with 400w cooltube, and nine drip buckets.

Those darn Odorsoks work! I mean I really enjoyed the lovely smell that was seemingly getting stronger and stronger everyday. I originally had a 4" Odorsock on the exhaust. But after some suggestions, I was advised they are designed and will work better if you use it on the intake side. I also figured out I was choking my air flow, my fan is rated at 400cfm, the 4" odorsok is only 200cfm. So I took it off and have had no odor control for a few days, but at last, an idea! Ill put a second one on but move them inside the tents. I have one 400cfm fan ducted to two tents. So that is what I did, no more smell, at all. I was worried that I might not be able to keep up on it, being that I live with it. I have had situations in the past where my friends will tell me they could smell my apt all the way at the end of the hall. That's only when Im smoking it, so forget about it stinking 24/7. I think most people realize their neighbors smoke pot, hell I know everyone in the building who smokes and I dont even know their names. Just the occasional smell walking past their doors. Ok, im tired, need sleep. Oh that timer should be out any minute now, I still need to change out my MH to a HPS for the flowering area.
