but, i say that just makes them more likely to be a target by scammers - you can't call the cops and say that the weed dealer stole your weed money.. the attitude has a lot more to lose by screwing you over - i think they would rather have you a life long customer..

Unless the Attitude realizes exactly what you just said, "you can't call the cops and say that the weed dealer stole your weed money".
So they sell some customer info off on the side, if something happens, the worst result that they see is the loss of a customer.
The police aren't called, you can't sue or take them to court, and they get new customers everyday thanks to High Times.
Then if you say something in an online forum like this, people call you a fake, fraud, or liar.
They have exactly zero to lose by screwing customers over.

Hope everything goes well racerboy. Ive been hearing about this here and there since Ive been on this site. I worry every time I order about that but banks usually take care of fraud no problem but still sucks ass. Good Luck.

I saw some seeds in a dispensary. $200 for a pack of Cali Connection Tahoe, $200 for any Reserva Privada, $150 for the rest of Cali Connection OG..and $150 for a Barney's Farm 8 ball Kush.

Order online.
That's what they're asking; you can always offer less and see what happens.

Don't forget, seeds do have a shelf-life, the dispensary is going to want to turn over its inventory, and they're probably paying roughly 1/3 for the seeds what they are asking retail. If they're really asking so much for those seeds, they're probably not moving all that many.

You'll want to speak with the owner/manager. If you are polite about this, tell them you can get the seeds shipped to you from overseas for "$X", but are willing to pay them a little bit more than $X in cash right now for the convenience of not having to wait, they may agree, especially if you're also doing other business with them too.

On the topic of this thread, some time last year I had several BS charges run on my credit card from England. There were three purchases from online vendors, and I think the total was about $200.

Note that I have NEVER used this particular card at the Attitude (or any other seed bank), OR anywhere in Europe.

Fortunately, I caught the charges on my card and alerted the bank/CC company within a few weeks.

IIRC, the CC company managed to deny payment on two of the charges (which I suppose ended up screwing the vendors).
One was too late, and they actually refunded me the money, though I had to fill out a stack of paperwork and wait a few weeks. They also issued me a new card immediately.

So there are two points here.

1-There are all kinds of ways credit card scammers get numbers, including internet browser script hacks, social engineering, and other ways. Credit card fraud is a global phenomenon, and its possible that the Attitude really may NOT be responsible here.

2-In practice, its the credit card companies that assume the risk of fraud, not the consumer. This is one of the "lubricants" that ensures liquidity in the credit market. So no matter how much you are scammed on your card, so long as you report the fraud within a reasonable time frame, I believe you are only personally liable for the first $50 in bad charges. The credit card company absorbs the rest, which gives THEM plenty of incentive to quickly reverse bad charges, and ensure good internal security policy.

Before blaming attitude or sage pay for credit card fraud one most consider the security level of is computer especially when you frequent forum full of little scripter, do you have no script or equivalent on your PC? key logger scrambler? firebug? if not someone can get in your PC & track you card number and all other needed info

if you have a problem with a shit company, a good trick is to say something like... " I am a medical grower in bla bla bla and am teaching around 30 people to learn to grow... now i wont be using your line of seeds to teach with, im going to so and so company.." Worked for a science teacher of mine with her dell laptop.... she says well i was planning on recommending dells to all my seniors but now that im having this problem Im not going to. she got a free laptop. not saying it will work but its always worth a try to put yourself in the "power" position. also maybe say you will from now on go to someone else :D

I would hesitate to say that Attitude has anything to do with credit card fraud attacks on their customers. As far as I know, they don't even have access to the credit card info themselves. It's all 3rd party. I think they would prefer the long standing reputation as the world's best seedbank rather then the rep that they screw their customers over. I suspect a hacker here for sure, might have been a case of wrong place, wrong time for the OP. Espcially considering he said he's ordered for years from them. Shiat happens, can't always avoid it ya know? You can drive your brand new Corvette off the lot and someone can T-Bone you a mile down the road. Would suck, but would you never buy another Vette? Not a great analogy but you know what I'm getting at.

Having said that, I sincerely appreciate the OP's warning and I will probably change up my payment method next time I order. Thanks!

You don't capitalize, use punctuations, or even make complete sentences.
Yes, your intellect clearly exceeds mine.
proper grammer isn't an accurate measurement of one's intellect, sorry.

Anyways, I suppose I won't be purchasing from Attitude after reading this. Damn..they don't realize how much business they lose on one fuck up lol. Look at the activity on this thread, there's quite a bit tbh.

Attitude = Microsoft of seed world. I think some people here prefer Macs. I'm guessing here, but I bet if we were to be privy to Attitude's records, we would be shocked at how many orders they put through daily. Kind of like there are far fewer viruses written for Apple devices, hackers will target the big boy on the block. Like stated earlier, there's not much chance Attitude is going to court after them either due to the nature of the business, so it is what it is. I don't think i'd feel any safer ordering from any other site (at this point anyway)

Hackers target windows, not Apple, for a multitude of reasons that I'm not going to explain to you. Basically what I'm saying is, your metaphors as well as your logic are flawed, and don't apply to this situation well.

Yeah, no need to explain, I'm fully aware and this isn't the forum for that. How do you not agree that a huge reason is the fact that 99% of people use Windows machines? Why waste time going after the 1%? (percentages should not be taken literally) My point was, people target the big guy like WalMart, Best Buy, Microsoft and generally leave the small timers alone because it's not worth the effort.

I think you should figure out what point you're trying to make before we continue.

Fair enough, I said a lot of nothing there didn't I? I'll sum it up and get out.

I guess I was a little surprised at many people's gut reaction to immediately blame Attitude. I saw some comments along the lines of "all these people in this thread have had issues so I'm staying away." All I want to say is maybe that's a little drastic... maybe we are hearing all of these stories because they're a huge seed bank and basically everyone on here has used them at one point and the law of averages says we're gonna hear about some bad experiences with them. I say to each his own though. I don't give a shiat where people get their gear, just do good with it :)

And once again, to the OP, thanks for sharing your experience, I am going to take your advice FWIW and use a different payment method like a gift card or something when ordering online period. (why the hell not, might save me the headache of dealing with my bank's fraud dept later)

I think you missed what he was saying. And your being an ass about it while looking like an ass.

Actually, I think it's the other way around now being Apple has a market cap of 650 billion compared to Microsofts 200 something billion..just for what it's worth.
