Aloha all,

So I am about to place a new order in the tude by tomorrow, so I can use this black friday discount. So like all growers, yield and potency really matter to me, taste not so much. I have chronic back pain, especially when I sleep, so the duration would be nice as well. Since I live in Hawaii, I grow inside due to my surroundings( plenty of foot traffic), thus why I need to have a shorter flowering time so I can save on $$$$. 44 cents a KILOWATT HOUR!!!!!!! I grow in a mylar 4x4x6 tent with a 400 HPS. Anywhoo, I am not particular between indica, hybrids or sativas, I have grown them all and have fell in love with their individual characteristics.
This is my possible list order so far:

5 feminized Grape God- Next Generation Genetics.
5 Big Buddah Cheesus ( I am looking for a good yielding Cheese strain, smoked it for the first time this weekend, OMFG LOVE IT! So I am open to any Big Buddah Cheese varieties)
5 Nirvana AK 48
5 Nirvana Aurora Indica

Please give me your suggestions and critques maybe of smoking and growing these various strains. Much mahalos seriously guys, I am getting more serious into my growing and I can see how genetics really help out in a strains potency. I have done outdoor grows for over 5 years, and this is my second indoor grow. I am a little skeptical on the Nirvana strains, as I have grown bubblicious and aurora indica before. Bubblicious sucked dick, but the little bit I got from my Aurora indica ( I was battling mites and 90 degree temps outside) was excellent.
Btw price range for TOTAL ORDER would be about $150 max, btw I will give + rep, but I am not a whore.

I think you should check out Mandala seeds. They have a website, they also resale on attitude. Be sure to use the 420 promo too (if you can). 25% savings.

Mandala has some very interesting lines that are actually properly bred - and the prices are pretty reasonable - strong reputation in the community and some varieties are almost impossible to get ahold of (8 miles high comes to mind) which also isn't a bad sign. IMO you'd probably end up with better plants than you will with Nirvana (who has a hit or miss reputation).

God bud is nice, not sure where the Grape comes from - probably they worked it with their Sweet Skunk I'd guess.

I think you will get better results from 1 pack of Mandala than you will from 2 packs of Nirvana and they have some variety. Next Generation is known to have some nice gear, if it sounds like your thing I'd jump on it.

Also worth considering is 3rd party seed banks like Peakseedsbc.com, Sanniesseeds etc. They have good reputations and better prices than Attitude (regardless of promo).

Thanks guys! Ya I have been doing alot more forum reading on these particular strains in which I was choosing from. I haven't done alot of digging on the Female Seeds company, but it sounds like they might be worth a shot! The reason I chose Grape God Is because of the lower flowering time and stable genetics, alot of medical patient friends say it is consistent medical quality buds. I checked out the attitude again, this is my updated list.

1. 5 Seeds Bomb seeds Berry bomb ( Just saw a friend grow out this strain and smoked samples of finished product, I would strongly recommend Bomb seeds to anyone)
2. c99 4 fem seeds from Female seeds
3. Original Amnesia DinaFem 3 seeds.

I've grown out 3 different female seeds c99 and I will tell you right now it is straight up garbage. Not only does it not compare at all to c99 I've grown in the past, but it is also hermie prone.

The Dinafem seeds that I've grown out have been just very average ok strains, nothing special at all, but if you are not a head you'll probably think they're good. They are consistent and some will yield well. You might like them actually based on your preferences. Blue Widow was actually a fast flowering very nice yielding decent smelling strain. My boy still has a cut of it cause he liked it a lot. I'm a pot snob though so for me it's just not good enough.

I am not familiar with Bomb seeds.

My first choice if I were you and looking for a tasty good yielding fast flowering strain would be Bodhi's dream lotus. Bodhi has killer gear man he's prob one of my favorite breeders atm. He's got the legit cuts and connections and has great selection skills in his males he chooses to breed with.

If you want a fast flowering time, yield, and potency, and taste is not a big factor, I'd recommend some Mr Nice strains like Critical Mass, or G13 Skunk. Both of those are gonna be done in 8 weeks and will be very large yielding. The G13 skunk will prob be more potent. Not saying they'll taste bad it's just they breed more for potency than flavor.

If you want feminized seeds as it appears might be the case based on your list, I've had decent luck with DNA/Reserva Privada. I got a chocolope that is freaking KILLER that I'd highly recommend, but it's not in stock unfortunately. But you can find some nice plants in their gear. The Cannalope haze is very similar to C99 from what I hear. Many say it actually is just a renamed C99.

Well Bodhi has gone to crap and I grew Female Seeds c99 and I still have ORIGINAL Bros. Grimm beans and I tell you the Female Seeds version is the pineapple pheno with an occaissional pez pheno (the sweetest and trippiest) and not a hint of herming and straight up potent trippy weed with no ceiling and OMG the bho I made from it was just spectacular. Every bit the c99 that the original beans are. And chop c99 at 51 days flower no more as that insures her magicDNA, Ace, Cannabiogen, Flying Dutchman, Sensi all good solid breeders as wellI really like Barney's Farm as well...especially LSDhope it helps

Bodhi has gone to crap... care to explain that one? He has access to a constant stream of cuts most people only dream of, and has a great eye for finding studs. He can tell you exactly what traits you can expect to be passed from each of his males. The man knows his plants and crosses them to uber elite clone onlies. You can't go wrong. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You think female seeds c99 is great nuff said. 2 of the 3 females hermed on me they have hermie tendencies sorry but it's a fact. Period.

Now if you had said sensi has gone to crap I would have been right there with you. But you think they're solid? OMFG you must have an affection for cardboard. Sensi in my experience, and many many many others online if you search, is a shadow of what it used to be. In fact I just grew out their maple leaf indica and it was prob the worst strain I've grown out since Peak Seeds Blueberry. Just complete rubbish. Man what the hell do you have for taste buds, sandpaper? Barney's Farm? Good grief you'd go broke if you grew in my parts.

DNA, Ace, and Cannabiogen I can agree with you on but the rest... Please.

so go read around...bodhi gear has been failing really recently...but not from my own experience just what others have told me

I grow for me...have all the money I need as I am retired young

as for great REAL genetics check out Classic Seeds...

And now I understand you are commercial...bah, all about the $$...wont waste my time here then...have a great existence dude

and about FS that was in your garden...I grown out lots more than 3 and no herms and vegged for 3 months to boot...they were huge

sorry that fact occurred in your world not mine dude

but thats why there's so many choices right?

Lulz about bodhi going to crap. I
As far as the op goes, he should snag himself some White Lotus and it will take real good care of his pain/sleep problems.

Did you order yet?

I would suggest at this time going Calli-Connection buy a pack and get a pack of chemD. Maybe get Bubba pre 98 or Tahoe. Then pick some singles of those other cheese you like. I would stay away from Nirvana unless you need cheap first time seeds.

Since you are in Hawaii Id like to know if Maui Wowi is still a viable regularly seen smoke on the Islands anymore? Sure liked it when visiting in the 80s but I know it may not be for inside.

Buyer Beware! Cali Connection genetics

Hello fellow farmers I just wanted to extend a warning to you about cali connection genetics. I have purchased 2 packs of gear from them and one (Raskal's OG) autoflowered on me and all the Chem D fem lines have very poor germ rates and hermie tendancies. This has been verified by numerous growers. This breeder does not test his seed stock it is well known, so don't buy into the hype. I know they have adds in High Times and a few other magazines.

I am not trying to cause trouble I just don't want to see people spend hard earned money on these genetics. He has admitted this problem and several seeds packs are still out there available for sell.

i agree with this person, i have original c99 seeds and the knock offs that the attitude sells today are NOT EVEN CLOSE in comparison to the orig. grimm brothers.

Hey guys,
So ya I just placed my order actually. I am gonna make another one in a couple of weeks, once the new promo hits up on the Attitude Seed Bank. So I decided to order just 5 seeds of God Bud and I got the c99 from Female seeds. So I stuck within my price range of 150, checked out about 123 after shipping. I got some freebies, they were g13 lavender and blue og. The other freebie was a CH9's "Jack Strain". I have heard iffy things from Bodhi seeds, but normally what I go off of is word of mouth opposed to the internet. Just because being a medical patient, it is good to actually here the effects of the various strains. Purple God seems to have pretty stable genetics, just two phenotypes, and idk, I really wanted to try a good Grapefruit cross without shelling out huge $$$, thus why I went with FS version( I will keep my fingers crossed).
I never got around to picking out a cheese strain, besides there being so many, I couldn't narrow down which cheese I wanted. So my next question is relating to this strain, I heard that exodeous cheese is exception though I do not know which breeder to choose from. The other cheese I thought about is getting either Big Buddha's Blue Cheese, or getting Barney's Farms Blue Cheese. The blue cheeses interest me most because they are crossed with a blueberry( it being good for a pain reliever and night time smoke). But I have heard of hermie issues with BF version lately, so I don't know. Insights?
As for Maui Wowi, I have seen it spelled Maui Waui ( Hawaiian spelling of the strain), I have seen some crosses of Maui Waui parents, but never the actual mother itself. Though I have seen Kona Gold and some original Puna strains that could easily date back 150 or more years. Pretty fascinating when ya think about it. I wish I could grow outside more often, but my new living situation has too much foot traffic (trade off for living close to the beach and surf :D). So thus why I am looking for more indica leaning hybrids or an indica hybrid that is resistant to mold. My relative humidity is usually 70% +, and I have to battle mould constantly. Shoots braddahs, give me your insight!

OK bro have fun with the hermie factory your room is gonna become. Haha jk:)

Seriously man you really need to be watching for bananas cause if one of those feminized beans herms your whole room will be seeded. Hope you have experience and can identify nanners if they pop up. One of my female seeds C99's ruined itself and 3 other plants cause it was in the back of the room and I didn't catch it in time.

You have been warned.

from my experience, big buddha's cheese crosses arent worth germing, cheese flavors dont come through, terrible resin production imo, but thats only his cheese strains.
might wanna check out cannaventure, they have some awesome hybrids, just gotta get them while they are in stock.
i think all chem strains have the tendency to herm, just the way it is, doesnt help that swerve only sells fem seeds now, just what ive heard.
from personal experience and witnissing first hand, id say bodhi is more than legit. his name is gettin around, and people are hating. anyone have a solid argument why bodhis hybrids arent making the cut?

Yeah I would also love to know what iffy things are going around about bodhi. All I've seen and heard on the net is praise from some pretty damn top notch growers who know grade A+ plants when they grow them. I know I'm sweating his gear big time.

Thanks for the info on Buddha's strains. I just smoked some cheese and it was fucking killer, not sure on the genetics just a guy I buy from said was the strain. Freaking amazing. It's just one of those fantastic strains you here so much about, finally get it, then when you try to grow it, turns out not to be the same variation.
Cannaventure gear does look sick, as well as Bodhi's. I haven't done any extensive research, but their hybrids are fucking pretty interesting. Esp their trainwreck cross, wondering if they were able to breed an Artaca clone. I was also thinking about trying to find a good NL5 cross, wasn't to sure if they haze or what variation is the best. My roomate grew it a few years back, and that shit smelt and tasted literally like a bag of skittles. Ugh I miss that strain.

This is total BS I have had a recent hermie and my perpetual grow was not affected at all.
It was only a partial with only a few seeds in a couple zips but Im just saying getting a little
hermie is not the end of the world nor the end of your crop. Not that anyone is trying to get
hermies LOL

Cannaventure used a Trainwreck BX2 male from Head Seeds. Those guys have some tasty gear for sure. Big Buddha Cheese was not bad there were no hermies from them and they tasted decent, but no keepers for me. Greenhouse actually has a pretty damn tasty cheese if you get their exodus, not their regular cheese. These are supposedly S1's of the clone. I've never tried the real deal but some of my peeps have and they said it tastes exactly the same. They smell freaking fantastic. My main issue with the cheese and cheese hybrids is the low yield and the bitch they all are to trim. So many damn leaves to trim for such a small amount of nuggies. Their trainwreck is pretty damn good too I was real surprised. And the Lemon Skunk. All 3 of those have the funk. And to be honest don't like greenhouse at all and in general don't recommend them, but they did a nice job on those 3.
