So far it looks like she's really enjoying that HPS. She grew .2 inches just yesterday from when I put her under it! Starting on the new leaf development and should progress quite nicely while I'm out of town.

Notes
Will be back sunday afternoonish!!

Looks good, other than It looks like there may be some yellowing on that cotyledon, and some mild leaf twisting On its actual weed leaves it seems.
Probably just because it is so small and not adjusted to nutes yet though.
Keep up the great work brother. Talk to ya soon.

hey bro thanks. The yellowing spot showed up 4 days ago, not sure what the cause was, but they fall of anyways lol. I haven't added any nutes yet besides superthrive just to get the roots nice and healthy. I will start adding very light nutes next wend.

I just moved my thermometer right next to the plant instead of next to the res. Right next to the plant its about 87.2 F, that a lil too high?

most all my seedlings gets some yellow spots here and there. without CO2 injection - 87 is high. shoot for 75 F if you can.

until I get the inline and remove the door it's going to be a little difficult to get it that low. For some reason the AC isn't blowing that hard through the air vent, imma have to try and fix that!

you could always add some dryer hose to it and extend it down to come out right next to the baby...
Maybe? Shit i dunno about that one.
Whatever way it is, you gaotta find a way to bring down your temps or it will be heat stressed to hell and back before it makes it to the 3rd node.

I saw the ec reading say 200 and assumed that you were giving nutes. sorry bout that man;)

lol holy shit I was just doing that lol! vady nice! It's slowly dropping but it's around 85.3 right now. I've closed all my vents in the apt right now except this one and I'm just keeping it constantly on. Hopefully it'll get back to normal. Should I drop the resevoir off the tote and put it back to 52" away?

alright, i just got back from picking my tux up. decided to peak into the op and the temps are down to 77. Guess I will just have to keep the AC on 24/7 til the inline gets here!

hopefully you'll be able to shut it off. 77 F - your plants just sighed with relief and will reward you for your excellent care-taking! :leaf:

It probably will suck the color out of it. You must be doing very well, Ive had plants keep their cotyledons all the way to harvest, but the only way to do so it to keep the plant healthy its whole life. I also usually end up transplanting them lower into the pot and the cotyledons get buried then.

since Ive already missed that question and the temps are down now I would say to not more the tote.

Its funny as hell that we get the same ideas @ about the same time though.

Hope not but I guess if thats what it takes then do it. Have you already ordered the inline? If not you may want to switch to using cfls until it gets there.

Hey also what the hell did you do with those bagseed clones you were working with? If you threw them out then nevermind but if you didnt I was gonna say to keep them and veg them up a little so that you can practice your cloning with them.
I just found out that the other Hijack I was force flowering and hadnt found out about yet showed some female preflowers today(the sativa one that was having problems). Im throwing one cutting in the cloner today with the 2 indica dominant clones that are already rooting.:twisted::mrgreen:

they died when I went out of town to the mountains. I wasn't able to feed them while I was gone, it was fun practice though. Congrats on the preflowers bro! That's awesome news! Yeah maybe I should stick with CFLs while im out of town. Just incase!! Good thinking kochab!

i'm ordering the inline tomorrow along with the netpots and airpump!!

what sense does this make. I turn my HPS off and am now vegging with CFL's til I get my inline. But now my temps are back up to 82.9 and isn't going up and isn't going down. I have the reader literally a centimeter away from the plant and it's reading that. Yet I have 4 cfls 3 inch away and a fan blowing right over the plant and the cfls. It doesn't quite make much sense!!
