Alright so it begins! Round 2, ding ding!!

I've just finished up my first succesful grow and am ready to give it another shot! My first grow was with 3 bagseeds, 2 were indica and one sativa. The sativa ended up being the only female.

Anywho, on with the new grow! This will not be a bagseed grow. I will be growing 8 total plants. My other grow was a drip/feed setup, but this grow I am moving up to a DWC setup.

Below are a list of supplies that I will be purchasing in the next week or so. I will be keeping everyone informed of everything as I get everything setup.

Maybe Northernlights Feminised if they come in mail

Damn toolage, My ps3 recently broke so I havent had much to do after my smokage so the last few days ive taken countless hours to read your entire last journal. That was quite a read but well worth it. Im planning on setting up a grow later this month, But cheers on this one and hopefully you have an awesome grow!:peace::joint:

Looking forward to this next journal.
It may take longer than 2 days to read this one (I started reading the first journal last week), this journals end should be quite a few months away.
Any approximations on how long till harvest? Because the lowryders will be earlier than the others. Are you considering two separate areas to grow (veg/bloom) in the bigger closet. It would be a more convenient room if you can get the ventilation figured out.
No need to answer these questions directly, I'll read them in the coming updates I'm sure, I was just pondering a few things mentioned in your first journal.
Good Luck dude!!

do you plan on growing all these:
Blueberry
Maybe Northernlights Feminised if they come in mail
Lowryder *thanks kochab*

in the same environment? isn't lowryder an auto-flowering strain?

are you growing hydro/single res?

I'm asking cause i think different strains have different nutrient requirements (some can take higher doses but i think some strains - like blueberry are kind of nute sensitive).

I ran into different nute requirements/growth rates growing only two different strains - i don't think i'm going to try that again anytime soon :)

He has a point
I have 5 strains going and while it was all good during the grow
They all would have come out better with more specialized attention
lowering nute levels for one plant may have slowed the others a good deal
and now they are all finishing differently too
some will be ready much sooner than the others which makes flushing kinda of a pain.
Unless you are going to use separate reservoirs for the different strains which would be a bunch of work.

LR will finish really fast (5 weeks or so) thats 1/2 of your last plants flower cycle lol
You could get those going and harvest while you are still vegging the rest
still using 24/0 lights
its just the nutes that could be a problem.

I agree wqith email here trenton. If you keep different strains in hydro then they are going to have to be seperated into a different res for each strain, or go really light on the nutes the whole grow.

I really think that these Northern lights seeds have been taken by customs. I will be growing all of the lowryders in one res. If the Northern Lights does show up I will be purchasing another res, airpump and stones. I did think of that, but didn't want to put too much detail on it until the seeds actually showed up, if they did. The blueberry will grow in veg for 1 month, I was going to suprise you all, but I'm going to be flowering the blueberry in a seperate room, and I will be flowering with CFLs. I've always wanted to test it out for myself and see the results!

I purchased some cfl's at a Home Depot for flowering. They were 100w soft white 3500k and they should work, shouldn't they? They also had 2' fl with the same kelvins so I got 1 of those also.

that would work, as long as its 12/12 scheduling. Is it preferred? no. You want near 2100-2400Kelvin when flowering. I will be using 8 32w CFLs 2100-2400K .
