I did the math wrong. Double the # for what you can expect. 144 in 4x4? So 4" rw cubes packed tight? Well, for certain you have to go single cola. If you're planning perpetual, you need to consider that the roots will weave together and be problematic where the batches come together. Check if 4-2x2 trays will fit so you keep them seperate or take a sharp knife and run it between the batches a few times a week so you're pruning a few roots at a time rather than tearing up a bunch late in the cycle. If you're planning to do it all in one run, I don't envy you come harvest time. That's a lot of manicuring, but I guess once every two months is not so bad. I'd also suggest very little veg time. Depending on your clone success rate, you'll cut about 200, root them, then veg just until they start to show growth. I'd start them when the others are halfway through bloom, assuming an 8 week strain. You'll work it out, I'm sure, just takes time and attention. Best of Luck

Merry Christmas back to you; and yeah, I've actually switched up my thinking and am going to try for 144 plants in my 4x4 tent, but I'll still be hoping to get 1.5-2 lbs. off of it - and as far as strains go, still not sure, but I'm leaning towards super skunk..........could be either Bubblelicious or NYPD though - check out my journal for the newest updates.

And as far as not doing SOG, I really can't be of much help with that question.......

Questions are fine, no worries - and the 64 plants will be in 6" square plastic pots.

Also, not sure about yield because I haven't run it yet, but I'll be hoping for 1.5-2 lbs. off of that setup.

and how are u acheving to get 64 plants in such a space ?? ( this i find cofusing !!) are you using the sea of green method ?? and if so wat does your total yield work out as ??

You can certainly use a 600 in a 4x4 tent, but I'd go with a 1000, assuming you can handle the heat.

As far as systems go, E&F is low maintenance and pretty foolproof, so that'd be my vote.

As far as fitting plants, I'm going with 64 in my 4x4 tent next harvest, and might even do a 100+ at some point.

well the thing is im thinking purchasing a homebox xl which i think is 1.2m x 1.2 x 2.0 m with a 600 watt light ( possibly lumitek 600 mh/hps !!

will this light be efficient enough ? and wat type of hydroponic system should i use in this space (nft) ?? and how many plants could i fit in this space ? (i was thinkng of growing big bud ) or any other good strains u would recommend.

yea, had two pages open. wrong one. Nice thread though.

Clones fine, takes nutes fine - it's in-between the SS and the BL for vigorousness (more vigorous then the BL, less then the SS).

sorry to show up here and ask but how does nypd takes on nutes and how does it clone , i got my buddy offering me a non rooted 6inches nypd clone for $ 50 and it looks branchy with fat leafs , any how i would realy apreciate if i cant get any personal info on this strain , i look all over and nothing ...is like no one is growing this promissing strain... pm me any input ... thank you

Don't see any pics attached, but yes, plants don't take in nitrogen as much during flowering so it's not in the nutes, and lack of nitrogen causes yellowing of the leaves.

I have a flood and drain system with a 400w hps light, I use general hydroponic nutes, the ph is kept at 6 and thet get fed 4 times a day during the light cycle for 10 min. Is this the normal yellowing during flowering or should I be worried?:wall: Inthe first pic you can see that the tips of the plants starting to burn( nute burn?) but what ever it is its happening to the other plants as well.
