Hey dude, as far as I can see the fan would extract the grow and ballast room. You're right though it should go carbon filter>cool tube>fan. I'd have the filter at the top of the grow room with ducting to cool tube, then ducting to fan room. 6" fans are hella loud tho, nuthin shady about them!
