What is the most effective way to control odor in a dank grow room?

I have a grow room full of mature Sour Diesel and the smell is overwhelming.

I am hoping to get some advise from long time experienced growers on how to control odor.

How well do carbon filters work?

Do ionizers work?

Do ionizers effect quality of medicine?

Has anyone ever heard of an inline ionizer that can be attached to exhaust ducting?

Hey dude I've grown dank uk cheese that could be smelt two streets away when I opened my tent.

With it zipped up and carbon filter running there was not a hint of a smell

Thanks for the info Born Again Vegan.
What size is your tent and what size is your carbon filter?
I have six plants, and I am thinking that a medium size filter will do the job.

You need to rate your filter to your fan. Your fan should be rated for the size of tent or space. Yes carbon filter is a must if you need odor control. Also Ona works well in a pinch (not long term or only means). A fan blowing over a bowl works well for a few hours and if you add some water to keep it moist it will last longer.

Simple fix is to get some Ona gel. Carbon filters are the best, but Ona gel, available on Amazon works very well. Ionizers are good at eliminating all the odor, say if you are trying to hide it from your parents, but the Ona is cheaper, and leaves a nice scent, but the scent is there.

Do ionizers work?
Not for odor elimination. They remove dust from the air. Your thinking of an ozone generator. They eliminate odor and are available for inline duct operation.

Just smoke the dankness in a different room. Its like hitting your other thumb with a hammer, works every time!
