Boulderrr Grow Journal - First Grow

I vegged for a very short time so I just had one main bud for each... I was time-constrained because of my 4 week trip in December. I will veg for over a month on this crop and am growing Himalayan Gold, which is supposed to be very high-yielding... I'm still very happy with what I got out of...

Boulderrr Grow Journal - First Grow

Here is what I got after drying and some curing. I smoked some so there was oriiginally a little more. Each picture is from each individual plant... so 3 pictures 3 plants. Started a new grow today of 3 feminized Himalayan Gold seeds. I'll link to the next grow from here when...

Boulderrr Grow Journal - First Grow

I left the leaves on so that it would take longer for the plants to dry (since I would be away for 3 weeks). The leaves did kind of wrap close to the buds but I was able to carefully remove them to leave just the buds. In a sec, I'll upload pictures of what I came up with after drying and about...

Drying advice please - Rep+ Given

It should stay around 65 in the room where they're drying. It may even get a bit cooler since no one will be in my house and the heat will be off. I'll set the fan to come on for an hour or so a few times a day.

HARVEST I have cut the plants at the stems and will be drying them whole. I am drying them with the method described in the GROWFaq. It claims that it is the best way to dry your plants. I'll be gone for about 3 weeks so it works well with my situation as well. The average humidity here is...

Boulderrr Grow Journal - First Grow

DAY 76 DAY 53 of flowering Well I'm leaving for about 3 weeks tomorrow so today is harvest day. About half way through flowering, I put them on 11 hours light/13 hours dark to hopefully speed up the flowering a bit. Two of them definitely look ready while it may be a bit early for the third...

    Drying humidity/airflow question - Rep+

Yeah... I actually may even be able to do 3 times a day. There are little pins for on and off. I have 2 ons and offs and I think my roommate has 1 I can use... maybe even 2... So I may be able to go on and off 4 times each a day.

    Drying humidity/airflow question - Rep+

My timer isn't the kind that can do that. It can only turn on and off at a certain time... Up to 2 times each. I doubt much new air gets sucked in from the door cracks. I'm sure there is some but I think it is very minimal. The closet is very small... about 4X3 feet.

    Drying humidity/airflow question - Rep+

There are large cracks where my door closes so I have a blackout curtain inside the closet door. For growing, I have the fan in the bottom right, where I've cut a hole in the curtain. It pulls in some fresh air from the door cracks. For drying, I want to keep the curtain closed to hold in...

    Drying humidity/airflow question - Rep+

I'm leaving for 3 weeks tomorrow. I'm cutting my plants today and drying them whole. I'm not removing any of the leaves or buds. The GROWFaq says this is the best way to do it and says that it takes about 3-4 weeks for them to dry this way at 55%-60% humidity. The average humidity here is about...

So the current plan is... I'll have the curtain closed (as in the picture above) and the door closed. They will be this way for about 3 weeks. I will put the fan in the closet and allow it to oscillate, without blowing directly on the plants. QUESTION: Should I put the fan on a timer or let...

Drying advice please - Rep+ Given

So I will water them today. I will cut them tomorrow. I will hang them upside down with all their leaves and everything on in the closet. I will close the blackout shade so that some of the moisture that is evaporated out of the plant stays in the closet. Should I keep my fan where the air...

Drying advice please - Rep+ Given

I'm leaving for about 3 weeks on Sunday so I'm planning on drying them as slowly as possible so they're ready for the next step when I get back. I read the GrowFaq and read about a method of drying them whole...without trimming anything until the end. It said this would take 3-4 weeks for them...

Drying advice please - Rep+ Given

I'm harvesting my plants tomorrow. They are not very big (about 16 inches). I will be out of town for 3 weeks. The plants will be dried in my closet where they were grown. I'm using the technique from the GrowFaq where you dry the entire plant without trimming. The GrowFaq says The average...

Boulderrr Grow Journal - First Grow

Thanks man! I really appreciate that. I'm leaving town December 21st so I'm harvesting December 20th. They'll end up being in flowering a little over 8 weeks. I have had them on 11 hours light 13 hours dark for a while to hopefully speed up the flowering a bit. I flushed them yesterday and...
