Warning: Total Newb posting.. But to keep the smell of some hopefully bad ass plants confined to that space, your going to want to get a carbon filter.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The total drobe space will be 2 x 4 x 6. I would just section of 1 x 2 x 3 for a couple of plant to veg. Do you think it is practical to only veg 2 palnts in a space of this size?

Hey Rollitupers! I am planning out a new growdrobe, and am thinking perpetual grow. I would like to section of a veg part. Is 2' length x 1' width x 3' height enough room for 2 or three plants to veg? I guess for 2 it would be 1 square foot per plant.

If I have a 6" cooltube, would I need to have a 6" fan and 6" carbon filter...or would a 4" carbon filter work?

Thanks Vans. I've checked out Bustan, and it has all the stuff, it is just so much more expensive than a lot of places I see in the states. But if that is the best price going in the area, I may sgo with that.

To all you Canadians out there in Rollitup land, and specifically you Ontarionians,,,where are you buying equipment for your grow room? I have been looking at sites in the states with envy as the prices seem a lot lowere than here for ballasts, fans etc.. But the cost of shipping makes it not...

Thanks for the advice folks. This doesn't sound promising. I think i could nick the light thing, but the humidity issue seems like a big problem. Maybe it is time to go back to the drawing board.

I see what you mean Fubar. It would be nice to eliminate the germinating from seed time, and save money on seeds. Here is an idea...would it be possible to have a small compartment, possibly at the top of the drobe beside the carbon filter and fan, where you could grow clones? Could you...

Thanks BusMike, that is a really good point...and from stories I have read heat always seems to be a problem wth these things. I think I could use a cool tube over the 400W HPS. Do you think that will be enough to keep it cool?

Thanks FUBAR. Great avatar by the way. The more I think about this, the more I wonder if it is even worth it to do 2 seperate compartments. If I did both stages in the one chamber and used a 400HPS(flowering) and 400HPS(veg) in the same compartment, would I get twice as much weed but it...
