How much space do I need to veg?

Hey Rollitupers!

I am planning out a new growdrobe, and am thinking perpetual grow. I would like to section of a veg part.

Is 2' length x 1' width x 3' height enough room for 2 or three plants to veg?

I guess for 2 it would be 1 square foot per plant.

I don't see how you're going to pull off a perpetual grow in a space that small. Do you have two rooms, or just the one? In order to do a perpetual grow you need to have a flowering room and a vegging room.

He's only working with 6 cubic feet of total space. This is a tiny area for a normal grow, nevermind a dual-chambered veg and flowering area. I can't see you harvesting more than a few grams per harvest with this sort of setup. You'd be better off scrapping the perpetual growth idea until you can get more space to work with. And even with a normal grow, I wouldn't put more than one plant at a time in there. You'll get the biggest yield by focusing on one single plant that you top, pinch, and tie down.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

The total drobe space will be 2 x 4 x 6.

I would just section of 1 x 2 x 3 for a couple of plant to veg.

Do you think it is practical to only veg 2 palnts in a space of this size?

Thanks for the reply Cannabox.

So you think I should just rotate 1 in every two weeks...hmmm...didn't think of that. That's an idea. I'll research that a bit more, thanks.

But I read that ieally you should have 1.5 - 2 square feet /plant for flowering. So I was thinking in my flowering space I would grow 2 plants ( 2 x 3 x 6) and grow two plants in the veg chamber for or 5 weeks. So harvest a couple big ones every couple of months.

Does this sound like a good idea? Is one square foot and 2-2.5 feet of height enough room to veg a plant for the 4 or 5 weeks?
